Hello and welcome to today's morning meditation.
I'd like for you to take a minute for yourself and try to make this meditation intentional.
Before we start this meditation I'd like for you to set an intention for the day.
With that in mind go ahead and lay down or sit in a chair whatever is comfortable for you.
We're going to start by taking three deep breaths.
On those inhalations I'd like you to fill your body,
Fill your belly with that air.
Imagine as if there's a pillow on your belly.
You want to try to push that pillow up with each inhale.
And on each exhale I'd like you to try to release the air with an open mouth and as best you can.
With each exhale I'd like you to sink more into the floor or the chair and release anything that feels stuck or stagnant.
So we're going to start by taking our first inhale and exhale through the mouth.
Another inhale filling your belly and exhaling it through your mouth sinking into the floor or chair even more.
For our final inhale I'd like you to try to take the deepest inhale yet and hold it for about five seconds.
On this exhale feel free to make a sound or anything that feels right in the moment but try to focus on that making this your biggest exhale yet.
Go ahead and settle in even more.
Focus on your third eye.
I'd like you to envision that you're on the edge of a forest.
This forest is full of beautiful trees and other vegetation.
You notice the birds chirping and the wildlife around you.
Walk into that forest.
Continue to notice the plant life and the animal life around you.
As you're walking ahead you notice a stream with a clearing around it.
Walk towards that stream.
Find yourself in this clearing near the stream and go ahead and just sit down next to the stream and watch the water.
Notice how it flows in a single direction.
It seems to flow so easily.
You notice that as there's rocks in the stream the water either flows around them,
Over them,
Or perhaps even under them.
As you watch this water flow in the stream notice how easily it goes around any obstacle that it comes across.
Whether it's a branch,
Another plant,
Or even an animal bending down for a drink.
The stream finds a way no matter the obstacle.
Think to how you can apply this to your day.
Imagine yourself like the water in this stream.
Flowing.
Flowing with life.
Picture yourself flowing with the positive things that could happen today.
Imagine all the things you'll see,
You'll pass,
You'll come across.
There's infinite possibilities.
But also picture yourself like this stream today in case there's anything that pops up that's not planned or not desired.
How will you flow like this stream?
You come to realize that obstacles are just like the rocks in the stream or the sticks or the plant life.
You just have to alter your course and flow around them and continue on to the path of positivity and beauty and wonder.
Take some time to continue to view yourself as this stream.
Imagine you're the water flowing down.
And all the beauty that can happen today.
Now as we go to end our time around the stream today,
Before we leave,
I want you to thank this stream for being your teacher today.
Thank it for showing you the wisdom.
Take a second to thank your ancestors,
Your guides,
And your angels.
Thank them for this beautiful life that you have.
Before we leave this clearing in the stream,
I want you to think of three things that you're grateful for so that you can start today with gratitude.
Imagine yourself kneeling down to the ground,
To the stream,
To say thank you.
And start your walk back on the same path that brought you to this stream.
Take the serenity and the joy and the calm that you have found in this place and carry it with you today.
Namaste.
