Welcome to this practice of being.
It's so easy to be a human doing.
This is one of those moments where you can take time to be a human being.
Have you ever been outside and gotten cold?
Your fingers just are just so cold.
We're going to use this as a anchor point in this meditation.
Picture yourself sitting on your couch or wherever you feel most comfortable sitting that you won't fall asleep.
You just got in from the cold,
So your fingers are cold and you're so focused on being cold.
And now you're warming up.
So in your mind's eye,
You're just sitting on the couch,
Warming up your fingers and close your eyes.
So for those of us that feel like we need to be doing something,
We are.
We're warming up our fingers right now.
We're warming up our fingers and just being.
This is the bridge from being a human doing to a human being.
While your fingers are warming up,
What sounds do you hear in this room?
What smells?
While you're in this space warming up,
What does your heart want to tell you?
And nothing is okay.
You slowly start to feel your fingers warming up little by little.
What does being feel like?
What is being in this moment feel like?
What is sitting in your chair feel like?
How does the air on your skin feel like?
How do your fingers feel now?
Are they all warmed up?
How does it feel to be a human being in this moment?
Nowhere else but here right now.
Come back anytime you want to practice or you need a moment of being,
Of just being.
