My name is Sengit and today I have a message for you.
Many of us feel pressured to look like something or someone or in a certain way.
So many,
If not all of us,
At some point in time,
For days,
For months,
For years,
Were touched by the pressure of looking like something or someone or in a certain way.
For a moment,
For many moments,
We not only thought that our bodies were wrong,
But we also thought that our bodies were us.
Surprisingly,
And for some reason,
It became hard for so many of us to see and to fully believe that not only our bodies are sacred,
But also that we are so much more than that.
So many of us were buried in the idea that we cannot look like our bodies unless we radically change them to fit into the perfect line of perfection that we have mentally created.
So many days believing in this,
Until today.
Today is different,
Because today is the day in which we no longer look in the mirror without looking deeply into our eyes and reach who we truly are.
Our bodies are always beautiful,
Always,
And so are we.
Shapes,
Sizes,
And colors start and end in the eyes of the one who looks into the essence of what matters.
It is time to see beyond so we can see what is right here and right next to us.
Our bodies matter.
Through them we sense,
We feel,
We communicate,
We express ourselves,
We fall asleep,
And we wake up.
Bodies cannot be ignored as if they are not needed.
They cannot be excluded as if they don't matter.
And they cannot be erased as if they are not special.
And here's the thing,
No matter what we do to them,
They love us.
We can neglect or push them to the edge.
We can even change them radically through treatments and operations.
And guess what?
They will still love us.
And if we are strong enough to fully love them back,
Despite the pressure and our will to look like in a certain way,
We will be able to stop for a moment,
Just for a moment,
And to recognize their strength,
Their power,
Their intelligence,
And their ability to deal with every decision that we make,
And to also compensate any harm that they experience.
Bodies change as our way of being changes,
And our way of being changes as they change.
Change is inevitable,
And sometimes we choose it,
And sometimes we don't.
And yes,
Anyone who is now experiencing this world knows how hard it can be to fully embody our higher consciousness,
And to fully embrace our bodies with total care and compassion.
We know that this planet can be far from being the best place for us to feel fully free in our physical vehicles,
As we are constantly being bombarded by innumerous ideals of what we should look like.
And we also know that no matter how much our bodies may fit into what we believe to be the best of all appearances,
These same bodies are equally subject to change.
So,
No matter what we look like today,
It won't last unless we continuously fit our bodies into a to-do list of things that we should do to look like something or someone else,
Or in a certain way.
But today,
Today is different.
Today is different because today we don't have to look like in any way we can rest.
We don't have to do,
To appear,
To impress,
To hide,
To show,
To correct,
Or to change anything.
Today is that day in which we love our bodies back so much,
But so much that we give them a break.
The break that they need to simply be,
Not because they will never change again,
Or because we finally stopped wanting them to change,
But because we understand that in the mix of the inevitable change and will to change,
Who we are remains,
And who we are is in charge.
Who we are gets to choose,
And today we choose to allow our bodies to simply be.
Our bodies are always beautiful,
Always,
Even if we don't think they are,
And above all,
They love us unconditionally.
Would it be too much to ask that we just stop for a moment and love them back?
Of course not.
So,
Today,
Let's leave the pressure aside and be gentle with our bodies by let them just be for a second,
For a minute,
For today,
And maybe even for tomorrow and the next day.
Yes,
Maybe even tomorrow and the next day,
Until again we give in to the pressure,
The need,
And the will to look like something or someone,
Or in a certain way.
