This is going to be a fun meditation.

Maybe a little bit of emotions will be brought up but we're going to reparent our inner child with compassion.

So if you're in a position or a place where you can take a couple minutes to yourself and close your eyes,

Please do.

If not,

Pause this and come back when you have time.

We don't want to do this when we're driving.

You don't want to do this if you are you know with your kids or at work.

Just give yourself permission to take the next 10 to 15 minutes to do this meditation and to reparent your inner child with complete compassion.

So I want you to take a moment to settle into a comfortable position.

Close your eyes gently and begin by taking a deep breath in,

Filling your lungs completely and then exhale slowly.

With every breath you take,

Let your body soften a little bit more.

Feel your shoulders relax,

Feel your face unwind and let your whole body release any tension.

Take a moment and allow your mind to settle.

You are here in this moment for yourself.

You deserve this time for healing and nurturing.

Begin to notice the gentle rhythm of your breath.

Feel the rise and fall of your chest with each inhale and exhale.

Now I want you to imagine roots are extending from your feet deep into the earth below.

These roots are allowing you to sink into mother nature.

With each breath,

Feel yourself become more grounded,

Rooted and stable.

You are supported by the earth beneath you,

Filled with safety and protection like a mother's love.

Take a few more breaths to connect deeply with this protective and grounding earth energy.

Allow yourself to become softer,

To feel rooted into the earth and into your seat.

Now I want you to bring your awareness to the version of you that was a child.

The innocence,

A pure and lovable soul that still exists within you.

Picture your inner child standing before you.

Notice their age,

Their expression,

Any feelings that they are obviously carrying.

Let them be exactly who they are,

No matter what.

Whether they're joyful,

Sad,

Fearful,

Playful,

Angry.

Take a moment to just observe.

There's no judgments,

But acknowledge their presence.

As you see your inner child,

Remember that they need love,

Care and compassion.

I want you to imagine a soft,

Bright,

White,

Healing light surrounding both of you at the same time in its bubble.

See this light fill your inner child with warmth,

Security and deep,

Deep love.

Let them know that you are here for them.

You are here to help re-parent them.

In your mind or even out loud,

I want you to speak these following phrases to your inner child with deep love and care.

I see you.

I hear you.

I am here to protect you.

You are safe with me now.

Feel the power of your words and your love as you nurture your inner child.

They need your love and care just as any child would.

And you are their loving parent now.

You are the one who can give them comfort,

Compassion and healing.

You are the one who has to kiss the boo-boo and put the band-aid on.

And the band-aid is true healing.

I want you to repeat these affirmations in your mind or out loud and know that each one is strengthening your connection with your inner child.

I offer you unconditional love.

I will always listen to your needs.

You are enough.

You deserve all the love in the world.

I am here to guide you with tenderness.

And care.

Let these affirmations fill your inner child with confidence and peace.

See them smiling,

Feeling secure and loved in your presence.

Now take a deep breath in and bring your awareness back to your body.

Feeling the support of the earth beneath you.

As you exhale,

Gently bring yourself back to the present moment.

Carrying the loving energy you've shared with your inner child.

As you continue to breathe,

Take a moment to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Maybe roll your neck.

Stretch.

Give yourself a hug.

So simple,

But just give yourself a hug.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Feel refreshed and loved and empowered.

Thank you for taking those couple of minutes to re-parent your inner child.

To give yourself a moment of true compassion and true love.

You deserve it.
