Hello Radiant Souls!

I am so excited to be bringing you this very special meditation.

This meditation is going to be a sacred moment of reflection and renewal.

As we gather in the spirit of Ustadha,

A season of balance,

Growth,

And blossoming life,

We're going to take a moment to journey inward,

To embrace the external and internal cycles of shedding,

Growth,

And rebirth.

I want you to take a moment to find a comfortable seat,

Whether you're lying down or seated comfortably,

And allow yourself to settle into the stillness.

Gently close your eyes,

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Feeling your lungs expand and exhale through your mouth.

Take a few moments to inhale and exhale slowly and evenly.

As you breathe,

Think about the promise of spring and all that that entails.

Deeply breathe in,

Hold it for a moment,

And exhale softly through your mouth,

Allowing yourself to release any tension or heaviness.

Keep deep breathing like this,

And every time you exhale,

Imagine that you're letting go of the weight of winter.

Feel the tension fall from your shoulders as you release all of that heavy,

Dense energy that we tend to hold on to throughout winter.

As you breathe,

Feel the earth beneath you,

Connect to that deep,

Grounding energy that's keeping you anchored.

Try to allow yourself to feel the steady,

Aliveness that comes from that comfort of knowing that you are connected to Mother Earth right now,

That you are one with God.

As you breathe,

Imagine that there are roots extending from your body down into the soil beneath you,

Connecting you and grounding you in the energy of Earth.

With each breath,

Draw up nurturing strength into your body,

Feeling more connected and even more grounded.

As you continue to breathe deeply and evenly,

I want you to imagine yourself standing outside in your favorite place.

It could be a beach,

The forest,

Or even on your front porch.

I want you to know and to see that it is currently dawn.

It's the day of the spring equinox.

Watch as the horizon begins to glow with a soft,

Golden color as it meets the darkness of night and begins to wash away all of the dark,

All of the cold.

All around you,

You can hear the sound of nature.

You can hear it awaken.

You can hear the animals and the birds chirping and singing.

You get to start to see flowers that are bright and beautiful and trees come to life.

The wind,

The sky,

All of it showing signs of life as night is finally going to bed and day takes over.

I want you to take a moment to just feel the presence of Ostara,

Or Easter,

The goddess of spring and rebirth.

Imagine she's standing in front of you,

A beautiful radiant young maiden who has a basket in her hands.

Her energy is warm,

Invigorating,

And she has this powerful aura around her that is calm and soothing,

But a little bit mysterious.

As you look at the basket,

She moves it so she can show you what's in it,

And you see colorful eggs,

Kind of like dye Easter eggs.

These are a symbol of life's infinite potential.

She holds out her hand to you,

Inviting you to step into this season of growth and infinite opportunities with her.

As you reach out to meet her,

She asks you to take a moment to figure out what no longer serves you.

The question catches you off guard a little,

But she speaks softly and calmly.

What habits,

Thoughts,

Or patterns have grown stagnant over this past winter?

I want you to visualize them as dry leaves clinging to your branches,

And with each exhale you take,

Imagine a soft breeze taking these leaves off of your branches and allowing them to fall gently,

Returning them to the earth to become future soil.

For the things that you're going to grow and bring in,

You need fertile soil.

So you take a moment,

And as you stand before her,

You allow your eyes to close and you think about all the things that are no longer serving you,

The things that are holding you back from your truest potential.

The things that are stunting your progress towards your highest self.

All of these beliefs and all of these thoughts that are holding you back from what you want.

These leaves,

These blocks,

These core wounds.

They now become dry,

Brittle leaves all around you,

Stuck in your auric field,

Resting softly on your skin.

And as you feel a budding warm breeze begins to blow around you and you decide now is the time to shake all these leaves free.

So one by one you exhale as the first leaf shakes from your skin and you imagine it floating softly to the ground.

So you slowly but surely allow each thought,

Each pattern,

Each limiting belief,

Traumatic core wound,

All of it to shake free from your body and your auric field.

Every time you exhale you feel the breeze.

Every time you exhale you feel the wind.

And then you just watch them float gently down to the ground as you release each burden,

Each thought.

You start to feel a little lighter,

More open to the possibilities that lie ahead.

Take as much time as you need and allow this to take shape.

Each and every one of these leaves is shaken from your skin,

Your hair,

Your aura,

Until none of them are left.

With every breath you release more and more of stagnant,

Dense,

Heavy energy.

Once you're complete,

Once all has been released,

Asada motions for you to hold your hands out in front of you.

As she does,

She places one of her eggs in your hand and she smiles before disappearing.

She leaves the egg resting firmly and safely in your cupped palms.

Now as you're holding this egg in your hands,

This sacred vessel that is open and waiting for your attentions for the new season,

Think about what it is you truly wish to cultivate and grow in your life.

Is it courage?

Is it love?

Is it creativity or balance?

Maybe it's opportunity.

Whatever it is,

Spread these intentions into the egg as if you're planting seeds within the shell.

Once you've whispered everything into that egg that you want,

That you feel you need,

What you desire the most,

Gently place the egg on the ground before you and cover it with dirt.

Water it with your hopes and your dreams.

Imagine that you can see it begin to sprout as you watch it grow taller and stronger with every breath you take.

Watch as your seed grows into a vibrant plant or is it a tree?

Feel its energy infuse into your body,

Becoming one with you on a soul level.

Like this plant,

You too are blossoming.

Your spirit and your soul are opening like petals to the light of the sun.

With every inch it grows,

So is your strength.

With every small bud that begins to blossom,

So are your intentions coming into fruition.

Allow yourself to embrace this sense of renewal but also possibility.

Imagine yourself stepping forward into spring with confidence and grace,

Now aligned with nature's rhythm,

Ready to grow,

Ready to create,

Ready to thrive.

Take a moment to thank Ustadha for her guidance and her blessings.

Give yourself a chance to express gratitude for this time of balance and renewal,

For both the shedding of what was and the blossoming of what will be.

Take a few deep breaths and imagine this gratitude being sent into the universe.

Now slowly start to bring your awareness back to your body.

Allow yourself to wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes gently and softly.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes to greet the world anew.

Blink if you need to,

Stretch if you must.

May this season bring you growth,

Harmony,

And light.

Have a blessed Ustadha,

And I can't wait to watch as all your beautiful intentions become a reality.

Thank you for being here.
