Hello and welcome.

Thank you for choosing to be here for yourself today.

This guided meditation is an invitation to journey into a peaceful inner sanctuary.

It's an opportunity to connect with a source of unconditional love and wisdom,

Offering a space where you can feel supported,

Find comfort,

And perhaps receive a bit of clarity or a message that's meant just for you.

There's nothing to force or figure out.

Simply find a comfortable position.

Allow yourself to relax and follow my voice.

Let your eyes drift closed.

Feel the weight of your body grounded and secure.

Begin to notice the rhythm of your breath,

A gentle pipe flowing in and out.

With each exhale,

Imagine releasing any tension you might be holding.

You are about to embark on a journey,

A walk along a familiar path into the deep,

Quiet woods of your own inner world where the wisdom and love of a cherished guide awaits you.

Let's begin by settling into the breath.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose,

Feeling your lungs expand.

And as you exhale through your mouth,

Release a gentle sigh.

Just let it go.

Again,

A deep breath in,

Drawing in calm,

And a long,

Slow breath out,

Releasing any tension.

One more time,

A full breath in,

And a complete sigh out.

Now bring your awareness to a well-worn dirt path,

Soft beneath your feet.

You find yourself walking through a beautiful sunlit park,

And this path is gently guiding you toward the edge of the forest.

Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin,

And hear the distant,

Happy sounds of the park around you.

As you draw nearer to the tree line,

Your eyes are drawn to a figure standing peacefully in the middle of the path,

Waiting just where the forest begins.

There's a familiarity to their silhouette,

A sense of warmth that reaches you even from a distance.

You walk closer,

And a feeling of recognition washes over you.

It's someone special waiting just for you.

It might be a loved one,

A dear friend,

A cherished pet,

Or a wise and gentle guide.

There's no need to name them,

Just feel their loving presence.

Without a word,

They offer a gentle smile and beckon for you to follow them into the quiet sanctuary of the woods.

As you step onto the forest path behind them,

The world changes.

The air grows cooler,

Smelling of damp earth and pine.

Notice how the sunlight filters down through the canopy of leaves,

Creating a dancing,

Twinkling light show on the mossy ground below.

Perhaps you glimpse another deer in her fawn,

Still and watchful in the shadows.

Or maybe your eye catches a wildflower of a color you've never seen before,

Vibrant and perfect.

You continue to follow,

Your path twisting and turning deeper into the heart of the woods.

After a time,

Your guide comes to a gentle stop.

They turn to you,

Their expression full of love and gesture for you to step past them.

You take a few steps forward and emerge from the trees into a sun-drenched clearing.

And there,

Held safely in the heart of the forest,

Is your special place.

A place where you feel completely comfortable,

Happy,

And safe.

It might be a cozy room from your childhood,

A favorite vacation spot by the sea,

Or even a peaceful park bench.

It could even be a place built entirely from your imagination.

Whatever it is,

It is here for you now.

Take a moment to look around.

How does it feel to be here?

What details do you notice?

As you take it all in,

You see that your loved one has found a comfortable place to rest.

You walk over and settle in beside them,

Feeling a profound sense of peace in their presence.

Here,

In this safe place,

Simply be with them.

You might sit in comfortable silence,

Just enjoying the feeling of being together.

Or perhaps they have a message for you.

It may not come in words.

It has a feeling,

An image,

Or a simply knowing.

Listen with your heart.

What is the message for you today?

How does it land within you?

Does it bring a feeling of happiness,

Of peace,

Of excitement?

Simply notice without judgment.

If no specific message comes,

That is perfectly okay.

It may simply mean that their presence is the message,

A reminder that you are loved,

You are supported,

And you are exactly where you need to be.

Whether you received a message or shared a moment of peace,

Continue to sit with your loved one.

Soak in this feeling of unconditional love and acceptance for as long as you need.

Take a moment to offer silent gratitude to your guide for their presence and their wisdom.

Allow the warmth of this encounter to fill you completely.

The love and guidance you receive are now a part of you.

Begin to notice the sounds in the room around you,

Grounding you in the present moment.

Take a deep energizing breath,

Feeling it bring life back into your body.

And will you feel complete?

Gently open your eyes,

Carrying this renewed sense of connection and clarity forward.

Namaste.

Hi Theresa, I wanted to express my gratitude for you creating and sharing this meditation. In my journey, I was joined by my protective cat who recently crossed the rainbow bridge. The experience released a gentle tear falling from my right eye. Thank you 🙏🏻💛🐈
