Hi my friend,

Are you ready to go into a very relaxing state to allow yourself the deep sleep that you deserve every night?

If so,

Find a small spot to gaze somewhere that is comfortably in front of you.

Focus on this spot and do not let your eyes turn away.

As you look there,

I'm going to ask you to blink your eyes with every number I count,

Starting with the number 10.

Let's begin.

10.

Blink your eyes.

9.

Blink.

8.

Blink.

We'll continue with this rhythm.

7,

6,

5,

4,

3,

2,

1,

And 0.

Your eyes are ready to gently close,

So allow them to do so.

And you will notice when you do,

A gentle wave of relaxation sweep over you,

And completely.

Sleep is our rest state,

And wake is our active state.

We must have a good flow,

Going between resting and activating.

And we can achieve this if we have the goal to set forth.

So imagine now that in front of you,

There are some stairs going down.

These stairs will lead you to the knowledge of restful and rejuvenated sleep.

Now,

As I begin to count from 10,

You will start to walk down these stairs,

Feeling more and more relaxed with each step you take.

10.

Begin your journey with the goal of sleep.

9.

8.

Feeling so relaxed with each step down.

7.

6.

5.

Continue to walk,

More and more calm.

4.

More and more relaxed in the mind.

3.

2.

And 1.

As you step off the last step,

You find yourself in white sand.

It's so soft and warm under your feet.

Stand there and feel these sensations you have on your feet,

As you're standing there in the sand.

Now look up and see more sand in the distance in front of you.

You also begin to hear the ocean.

As you hear it,

You become curious.

So you begin to walk towards the sound of the ocean.

As you begin to walk,

You start to feel the warm sun on your skin.

It feels so good,

So relaxing,

And you also begin to notice a light breeze on you as well.

You notice the smell of the salty air.

And as you're looking around,

You see the ocean peak over the sand dune.

You're walking towards the ocean now,

And you notice the sand under your feet begins to get firmer because it's saturated with the seawater.

Because it's saturated with the seawater.

You realize you must be close now.

As you get to the shore,

Where the ocean meets the sand,

You see little waves coming up and down.

You watch as they move up and down.

It's so relaxing to you to see this gentle movement.

And as the waves come and go,

You see some things in the sand.

Like shells and little pieces of seaweed.

You notice your own footprints from when you previously had walked by.

And then you notice a little piece of driftwood.

Driftwood.

And it's the perfect size for writing in the sand.

It looks like a little pen.

You decide to pick up this driftwood as you smile to yourself.

You think it would be fun to draw your name into the sand.

And you find a little piece in the sand where it's moist and be easy to draw your name.

So you begin to write out each letter of your name,

Noticing the sound of the sand as you scratch it through the sand.

Noticing the difference of the sand and the driftwood coming together.

You love these sounds.

The sand and the ocean and the driftwood and the breeze all coming together.

They're so peaceful,

So nice.

You love being in this moment.

You step back and you look at your name.

You begin to smile again.

So relaxing,

So fun.

Everything is so stress-free.

Nowhere to go,

Nothing to do.

All you need to do is be in this moment.

As you see your beautiful name that's carried you through your whole life,

You begin to notice a little wave coming closer.

This wave catches part of your name and washes it away.

And washes it away as it goes back into the ocean.

And then another wave comes and washes away even more.

And another comes in and washes it away.

And another until all you can see is ripples in the sand where your name used to be.

And it's all good.

You continue to smile.

You laugh a little bit to yourself as this is how life is.

It's just a circle of life and it makes you happy to see.

You now decide to continue walking along your beach.

Notice the surroundings.

You continue to notice the sounds around you.

Notice what you hear.

Can you hear the seabirds flying over you?

Maybe you can hear the waves.

Can you hear the waves crashing over you?

Maybe you continue to hear the ocean.

Or maybe the gentle breeze.

Can you continue to feel the warm sun on your skin?

How does that sand feel under your feet?

Is it relaxing?

Is it good?

Do you enjoy being in this moment?

The smell of the ocean.

That salty smell.

As you continue to look around,

You see a fresh date.

You decide to take a bite.

It's so delicious.

Just being at your beach today,

Eating that fresh fruit.

It's so fresh right now.

Now as you've walked,

You've learned so much about this beautiful beach.

But now you're ready for a little bit of a rest.

And as you look,

You find the perfect spot to lay down.

As there's a little bit of sun rays,

But also a little bit of shade.

So you go ahead and lie down.

And before you close your eyes to rest,

You look out at the ocean one more time.

You look out at the ocean one more time.

And you look at the horizon and you see how the ocean meets the sky.

You say to yourself,

This is the most beautiful scene you have ever witnessed.

As you gaze along this big,

Beautiful sky,

You begin to allow yourself to fall asleep naturally.

You listen closely.

It's so lovely.

It's so relaxing.

It's so lovely.

It's so relaxing.

Being here is such a dream,

To be able to nap on this beautiful beach.

And with that,

Now float and drift into a restful and rejuvenating night's sleep.

With nothing to worry about,

And nothing to do.

And when you rise,

You will feel renewed.

Sleep well,

My friend.
