Hello my beautiful friends and welcome to a two moons guided meditation with me Jess.

Today we're going to be doing a guided meditation focusing on opening the heart center as wide as the river and as deep as the ocean.

So find a comfortable seated or lying down position and we'll begin.

Once you find a quiet place to sit or lie down,

Allow your eyes to gently soften,

Taking a nice big breath in and out.

Again inhaling,

Filling your lungs and exhaling to let go.

Allowing each breath to bring you more fully into this moment,

More into your body and into your heart.

Let your awareness gently scan through your body,

Starting from the crown of your head and moving down slowly,

Softening your forehead,

Relaxing your jaw,

Letting your shoulders drop away from your ears,

Letting your spine lengthen,

The hips softening,

Letting your belly release,

Feeling the support of gravity holding you,

Reminding you that you don't need to do anything,

Just be.

And with each breath imagine you are becoming more rooted like a tree,

Solid,

Steady and supported.

And allow yourself to rest in that support.

Breathing in and out.

And now bring your awareness to your chest,

The space in the center of your chest,

Your heart center,

And imagine your breath flowing in and out of this space.

With each inhale you expand,

And with each exhale you soften.

If you feel cold,

You can place one or both hands gently over your heart,

Allowing yourself to feel its warmth and rhythm,

The pulse of life that is always within you.

And now,

Silently affirming,

I am safe to open,

I am ready to receive.

Breathing into that open space,

And out.

And now imagine a beautiful river flowing through your heart center.

Allow this river to begin as a gentle trickle,

Fresh and clear.

And with every breath,

Allow this trickle to widen and intensify until it becomes a wide,

Strong,

And flowing river,

Steady and alive.

This river is your heart's energy flowing through you,

Washing away any of those old blockages,

Pain,

Or walls that you may have been building up to protect yourself.

Let the current of this river cleanse you.

Let it carry away any of the heaviness that you've been holding on to.

With each breath,

Feel your heart expand as wide as the river,

Wide enough to hold all of your thoughts and feelings.

Love,

Wide enough to hold grief and joy,

Wide enough to hold it all.

Your heart is vast and there is space for everything.

Breathing in.

Now let this river lead you to the ocean.

The river flows into a wide,

Endless ocean.

And you are standing at the edge,

Gazing out into the infinite blue.

This ocean is the depth of your heart.

It is vast,

Unfathomable,

Sacred,

And ancient.

And with your next breath,

Feel yourself becoming this ocean.

Your heart as deep as the sea,

Holding wisdom,

Compassion,

Resilience,

And mystery.

Allow yourself to sink into this depth.

Float in the richness of your own emotional body.

There is no fear here,

Only truth.

You are as deep as the ocean.

You can feel deeply and still be safe,

Still be whole.

Now let your heart speak as you repeat these affirmations slowly,

With your deepest breath.

I am open to giving and receiving love.

My heart is wise,

Strong,

And expansive.

I trust in the flow of emotion.

I am connected to the deepest parts of myself.

I soften into love.

I am open like the river,

And expansive like the sea.

Let these words echo into every corner of your being.

As you let go of the visuals,

Allow these affirmations to settle as you rest and breathe,

Allowing yourself to just be and feel.

Let yourself be held by the vastness of your own heart.

Let yourself be witnessed without needing to change anything.

There is nothing that you have to do to earn love,

Nothing to fix.

Your heart is already whole,

Just as it is.

Breathing in.

Carry this heart energy with you.

Let it guide your words,

Your thoughts,

Your feelings.

Your choices,

Your relationships.

Let it remind you of your softness and your strength.

Let it lead you like the river and hold you like the sea.

Begin to bring your awareness back into your body,

Feeling the surface beneath you.

Maybe wiggling your fingers or toes,

Gently moving your neck from side to side.

Taking one more deep breath in,

And exhaling.

Exhaling with a sigh.

And when you're ready,

You can bring yourself fully back into awareness.
