Just getting yourself comfortable now Laying or reclining In a warm,

Soft and supported space That will fully hold your head and your body A place where you will not be disturbed by the influences and distractions of the outside world Allowing that soft,

Quiet,

Warm To receive the weight of your body As you allow your shape to melt deeper into its safe cushioning Feel how your muscles speak their gratitude As they can now finally release their hold The tension they have been using to diligently keep shape Can simply fall away into the softness beneath Feel as the muscle of your brain begins to soften As you give your brain permission to let go of any trying The jaw responds naturally in a gentle opening The muscles of the brow release So that the eyes can fall out of focus and gently sink back Feel that as your body sinks deeper into your nest Your skin too sinks deeper into your body You are allowing the nest beneath you to absorb all effort All exertion from your form And so with this you are creating space inside of yourself Into which you can then fully receive and absorb this healing guided meditation Are you experiencing an area of intensity or overwhelm in your life?

A friendship?

A colleague?

A relationship?

An anxiety around your health or well-being?

An over-attachment to a future dream or past fear?

A separation from your identity?

In this moment everything is okay And breathe in through the nose And out through the mouth In through the nose In through the nose And out through the mouth This breath in through the nose Hold here And a natural release out through the nose In through the nose And out through the nose Close your eyes if you haven't already It's just you here You and your breath As thoughts come in there is no need to affect them Just keep returning to the breath And they will blow out again on the breeze of your next breath Invite the breath in through your nose As a welcome And a natural release out A warm invitation in And on the turn of the breath expand that welcome and release And expand and release And release You hear a voice Come inside and have a cup of tea The invitation is laced with richness and warmth Come inside and have a cup of tea The voice is coming from somewhere within you I believe it is the voice of your mind It is your brain welcoming you to come and sit with it It requests your company The beckoning voice falls softly into you Comfort and companionship You are shown a doorway situated between your eyebrows Come inside and have a cup of tea You gather your body in your deeper imaginings And you enter through the door of your third eye Here you find your tea awaits you Steam swirling up from the rounded mug You see a soft sofa of rich deep red like velvet It begs to envelop you in its deep cushioning This is where you need to be This is exactly where you were meant to be You settle into the cushioning Like falling into the kindest most connected embrace And with tea in hand You share space with your beautiful and magnificent brain This is a space where all vulnerabilities are held with such gentle grace As you share this quiet space of connection together It is the feeling you might get when in company with the closest friend you could ever imagine But it is more than that It is a feeling you can only get when held in safe space with yourself One where there is no need for words Because the knowing and understanding of needs is so deep The capacity to love and be loved in this space is greater than anything anywhere You feel your breath fall into rhythm with your brain Matter and muscle and memory releasing any hold You just breathe and sip tea together Remember,

If you drift away from here,

Back into thought That is okay,

That is normal Just hear the words again,

The invitation rich and warm Come inside and have a cup of tea You enter the door in your brow And share space with your brain Breathing as one You sip tea Feel your body still As you relent and release and expand into this space of shared comfort Feeling the connection grow deeper and deeper and deeper You are home The tea here is always warm The connection asks nothing of you This space is yours It is a place of deep nurture,

Of infinite kindness It is free from expectation It is free from want or take It is silent and still And it is yours Come to this space often To practice being in a warm,

Safe,

Silent space with yourself Let it remind you of your lightness Let it remind you to feel past any intensity And into the quiet space beyond Let it remind you that you hold this space for yourself always Let it remind you the door is always open You do not need a key So come inside and have a cup of tea
