Hello and welcome to our community meditation space.
My name is Vivian Girard and it is my delight to be guiding us in a meditation for the new moon in Virgo.
This is the first of two new moons in Virgo.
This one at zero degrees and the second one in a month at 29 degrees.
So today we will be focusing on reassessing.
As we settle into the space it feels important to let you know that I use breath as a resource,
A tool to help you guide energy through your body all the way down to connect you to this planet.
We use astrology as a bridge,
A lens through which to understand the collective energy.
Let's go ahead and close our eyes and allow yourself to come all the way fully into this moment and your body.
When astrology is moving in significant ways like we are currently experiencing,
It is easy to get caught up in the swirl of the energy,
The current,
The movement of the energy.
And so meditation is this opportunity to slow everything down and bring all of our awareness from external back to internal.
So you focus on the core of your body and magnetize all of you back into you.
The places,
The people,
The projects,
The energetics,
Emotions that have you outside of just you here,
In your own power,
In your own body.
When you set the intention to magnetize all of your awareness into this current moment,
It starts to unravel from whatever those external elements were.
And so you simply focus on magnetizing you back into you.
When your energy returns into your body,
You can guide it all the way down through to your feet.
So you visualize your feet,
You direct the current of energy that is you coming back into you,
All the way down through your body to your feet,
To where you are connected,
Standing,
Feet planted on this earth.
Relax your muscles.
As you notice more of your presence filling up your consciousness in your body,
You may start to feel more full inside,
Heavier.
You may start yawning or coughing,
Energy buzzing through your body,
Your nervous system.
Simply relax the muscles and allow yourself to come even more fully into this moment.
Use your breath to relax,
To slow down the pace of the thoughts,
And to guide all of your awareness through your body to your feet.
And we take our time with this process so that we can truly unravel from all that keeps us distracted,
All the ways that our mind keeps us moving or looping or spiraling.
We notice and then we simply guide that energy,
That emotion,
Through our body down to our feet.
And then we choose to release whatever is ready to go through our feet and into the earth.
We don't necessarily have to know what it is that we are releasing.
We can simply choose to let go of anything that feels heavy.
Any stagnant,
Gunky energy that we have realized was in our body and this current of awareness carries it down through to our feet.
And we let it go.
When you release energy out of your feet,
There's a suction that may start to happen that pulls more of your awareness into you because there is more space now inside of your body.
And so you fill yourself up with you.
You may notice it's quieter in your mind.
Your muscles feel more relaxed.
There is a peacefulness that moves through the heart.
As you focus on your feet,
Allow any other stagnant toxic energy that may be in your body to just dissolve through your feet into the earth.
And imagine you can watch where that dissolving energy is moving towards being sent to.
You may see that energy nourishing the soil around your home,
Becoming fluid and moving towards a stream,
The river,
The lake.
You may see that energy going into the tree roots and moving through the network that energetically connects all living things in the earth.
It may simply feel like it's dissolved and no longer has that charge of negativity or toxicity.
Notice how your body feels.
And then see if you are able to straighten your spine,
Sit up a little taller and open your shoulder blades even as your feet are planted firmly on the ground in this moment.
Open up your physical body and allow your awareness to move from your feet up through your body,
Simply observing what is happening inside of your physical space.
If there is tension,
Can you unwind the muscles,
The nerve endings where you feel that tension?
As you move up through your stomach,
Your digestive system,
Notice if there is any emotion or energy that you can see has been disrupting your digestion.
Can you smooth that out?
As you bring your awareness up to your heart chakra,
Imagine you can breathe right into your heart,
Creating space,
Calming your body,
Soothing your heart.
These are challenging times for us as a collective humanity.
And our heart can carry the collective pain,
The collective emotion.
So in this moment,
Just notice if there is a soothing,
A clearing,
A healing that you can do with your own heart space to allow the heart to strengthen,
To feel more at peace than perhaps before you started meditating.
And then I will weave in some astrology for the mind to guide where we go next in the meditation space.
A new moon in Virgo invites us to focus on our health,
Our body,
Our routines,
Our organization,
Ways that we can improve our experience of our reality When we have one new moon and a month later another new moon in the same sign,
There's an opportunity for in-depth review,
Assessment,
Alignment.
We also have three planets retrograde,
Pluto,
Neptune,
And Saturn,
Inviting us to go even deeper inward.
This experience of our meditation time is an invitation to reassess the ways that we are nourishing,
Taking care of our body,
The daily routines that help us function in this 3D reality,
The resources that we create and provide for our lives to allow for more harmony of mind,
Body,
Soul.
So allow your body to guide you,
To show you any places that need your attention,
Need more care,
More nourishment perhaps.
Your body intuitively communicates and then your mind is able to write down,
Take notes of what comes through in your meditation time.
And then your choice is what you do with that information,
How you start to structure,
Restructure your reality.
By trusting what your body is intuitively showing you in meditation.
So notice your body,
Where your attention wants to go,
And trust that,
Go to that place in your body and be curious.
Why is this the first place that my awareness goes?
What is my body showing me?
If I were to know the one next step that my body is guiding me to do,
What would that be?
And then you carry that action forward into your life.
When the body begins to be heard in this deeper way and our mind is following through on the guidance the body offers,
There's a deeper trust that is formed within the mind,
Body,
Soul,
Collaborative unit.
The more we listen,
The more we act on what we receive,
The more we trust the flow of information between our body,
Our mind,
And our soul.
And this new moon in Virgo offers that pathway to deeper listening within ourselves,
Supported by the planets being retrograde.
There are also multiple planets all at zero to two degrees of a new sign.
It's a stacked new beginning,
A layered support for new starts,
New patterns,
New behaviors,
New routines to be established in our lives.
Virgo invites us to focus on health.
As you listen to your body in this moment by feeling what is happening inside your body,
Trust where your body pulls you,
Guides you.
And you listen,
What is your body showing you?
If you could see or feel a next step that most serves your body in this area,
What would that be?
Sometimes the answer is as simple as drink more water,
Move,
Receive more sunshine,
Breathe fresh air.
And sometimes the answers are deeper and more complex.
Trust what your body is showing you.
And then release any doubt,
Any heaviness,
Any toxicity that may have come up as you're moving through your body in this way.
Release that toxicity down to your feet and into the earth.
And then bring your attention back up from your feet through your body,
Leaning back with support behind you,
Opening your shoulder blades,
Opening your heart chakra.
When your awareness is back in your heart,
Allow yourself to pause here for a moment.
This year has had so much shifting with the astrology which ripples through the collective energy.
Allow yourself to pause to be fully present,
To be still here in this moment.
Simply resting.
It's as if we're allowing ourselves to catch up with ourselves.
There has been so much movement that the pause allows us to re-center,
To recalibrate with ourselves.
So imagine you can line yourself up within yourself.
You can center your mind,
Body,
Soul through the center line of your physical form and magnetize even more of you back into you from this centeredness.
Relaxing your muscles.
Feeling your feet firmly planted on the earth.
From this grounded place inside of you,
What intentions do you feel wanting to birth be expressed at this new moon in Virgo number one?
Perhaps you see the intention as words,
Thoughts,
Videos,
Ideas moving out.
Perhaps it's a frequency and you hold the frequency inside of yourself and set the intention,
This is the frequency for this next lunar cycle.
There's no right or wrong way to set an intention.
It's what feels true to you.
Feel your feet grounded here on this planet and as you set the intention,
Allow it to release into the ethers,
Into the sky,
The universe and let yourself be fully present here in this moment.
You may want to come back and repeat this process,
This meditation multiple times as you explore what is happening inside of your body and become very intentional.
We will make our way through this month and come back with the second Virgo new moon to go deeper into what was opened in this meditation.
So,
Feet firmly on the ground.
Let's start wiggling our toes and our fingers and allow yourself to come back into full awareness.
Keeping your eyes closed for just a moment as you maybe wiggle your shoulders,
Your back,
Your feet.
You might yawn or cough or burp or feel energy buzzing along your arms,
Your legs.
Slowly as you feel ready,
Go ahead and open your eyes and just look at one thing in front of you.
I'm holding a crystal in my right hand.
It's a smoky quartz with white and black and I'm rubbing my fingers over it,
Wiggling my toes.
Allow yourself to come fully back,
Merging the external environment of your space with all of the awareness,
The clarity that you had in your meditation time.
Both coexist together,
The internal and the external.
And so allow yourself to be guided with what you saw and felt inside of you.
Bring that through into your action at this new moon in Virgo.
I encourage you to drink a big glass of water and nourish yourself.
Move slowly from the space and journal if that supports your integration.
