Hello,
My name is Vivian Girard and it is my delight today to guide us in a short tour Meditation.
Video visualization of becoming present.
Pulling all of our attention,
All of our energy fully into our body in this moment.
It is a conscious choice to do so.
And sometimes when we sit with someone else and we do it together,
It makes the process a little bit easier.
That is what we are going to do.
Let us close our eyes.
And allow yourself to feel the place that you have landed in for this time together.
If it is a chair,
Really let yourself feel the seat underneath you.
The cushion,
The support at your back.
And let your body relax into the support that you have claimed.
Physically,
Energetically for this time.
Feel your feet firmly on the floor.
If you are laying down,
Stretch yourself out.
Let your body take up more room.
In the place that you have found yourself.
Wiggle yourself more firmly.
Into the couch,
The bed,
The floor,
The yoga mat.
And then allow your muscles to start relaxing.
We often arrive into an experience like this rushed or overwhelmed trying to fit it in with everything else that is happening.
And we swirl our way into the space.
So consciously land yourself here.
And start relaxing the muscles of your body.
As you bring your attention to whatever muscles you choose to start with,
You will notice the tension and then simply invite the muscle.
To loosen,
To unwind.
To stretch out.
You may want to stretch your legs out or wiggle your shoulders.
And use your breath.
To deepen into this moment.
When you breathe into your muscles and your mind is inviting your muscles to relax.
Your body starts to receive the message that you are safe.
That in this moment right now,
There is no danger.
And when we allow our body the feeling of safety.
Our body can start to relax and our mind can shift its focus.
So where before the body and the mind were trying to protect.
To make sure nothing would harm us.
When we slow down the breathing,
Relax the muscles.
The mind is now invited to be present.
And the mind can start.
Monitoring or observing.
What is happening inside of your body.
So allow your mind to be curious.
What is most present inside of your body in this moment?
It might be some hunger or thirst.
There might be a tightness in your stomach because you're finding your way into a state of relaxation.
And your stomach is digesting the idea that you are safe.
You might notice your heart is beating either a little faster because you're noticing it.
Or a little slower because you finally feel safe enough to relax,
To unwind into this moment.
As you bring your attention into your body in this way.
Your mind may be showing you different thoughts,
Different ideas.
And so you allow the mind to let the thoughts come in.
And go out.
And you focus your attention on calling all of your awareness.
All of your energy fully into you.
The you that is here becoming present in your body.
And it comes in waves.
We relax the muscles,
We become more comfortable,
More present.
And then more of our energy,
Our consciousness can be magnetized into this moment.
And so another wave of our own consciousness,
Our own awareness will arrive in our body.
And we guide that energy all the way down through to our feet.
We relax our muscles.
We use our breath to stretch out the space inside of our body.
And we feel the support,
The support underneath our feet.
The support that we are sitting on or lying on.
The support at our back.
And as we feel more present and the support registers in our body.
We relax even more into this moment.
And we call more of our attention,
Our awareness.
Home into the body.
You may notice where your energy is coming from so perhaps it has been monitoring a relationship or taking care of community or people at work.
Perhaps your energy has been tangled up in the collective narrative.
The busyness of the world.
What if we can call our energy back into our body without judgment or it being right or wrong.
We are just noticing.
Where we have been other than right here in this moment in this body.
And we relax the muscles and invite all of our awareness,
Our attention to come into the body and down through to the feet.
Relaxing your muscles as more of you arrives in you.
You may feel more full inside of the core of your body.
You may notice that your shoulders hunch forward a little bit as well.
More of you is being pulled down to your feet.
You may notice that your mind is quieter and calmer.
That you are hearing the words differently,
More clearly.
That the inside of your body is peaceful in a way that perhaps you haven't felt in a while.
And we call more of our awareness,
Our consciousness,
Fully into the human that is sitting here in this moment.
The you.
That is living this life's story.
And when your energy arrives in you,
You guide it all the way down through to your feet.
And you start to notice that your feet are firmly planted on this planet.
That there is a human body that is connected to the earth.
Wiggle your feet,
Allow yourself to call all of you to land,
All of you here in this moment.
When we have our awareness,
Our attention down in our body and not up in our head.
Our center of gravity,
Our power dynamic shift.
We become what we call more grounded.
More connected to this moment.
To actually being here in the body at this time on our planet.
And you may notice that your feet have a little bit of energy buzzing or maybe your legs are tingling a little bit.
Allow all of your energy to move through your body down to your feet and start filling your body up from the inside with you.
No one else's energy,
Just yours.
Notice how different it feels than when we are up in our head.
When you feel your feet and your legs,
Your knees,
When you can feel yourself landed here in your body.
There's a steadiness to it.
You're alive,
You're present,
But it's more still.
It doesn't have the looping energy that our mind often has.
So you relax your muscles and let yourself lean back in your chair or relax more if you're laying down.
And keep filling yourself up with you.
Noticing how it feels in your stomach.
When you have already filled up your own body with your own energy through your legs up to your stomach,
There's a calmness.
A certainty about being here in this moment.
That we don't often have in our mind.
Our gut can feel the safety of being in our body.
So you relax your muscles and allow yourself to rest.
Into this feeling of being here fully present.
Notice how your senses are heightened.
You have more awareness,
Not less awareness.
Your ears may ring or buzz because the frequency around you is shifting.
Because the frequency inside of you is calming,
Steadying.
Call more of you into you and allow yourself to fill up from the inside.
All the way up to your heart chakra.
Relaxing our muscles as we do that using your breath to breathe into your heart space to allow yourself to land in your heart.
With a trust,
With a knowing that this is real.
The most beautiful place for you to be is in your own heart space.
Not needing anything to be different.
Just allowing yourself to experience your own heartbeats.
You filled up with you.
Inside of you.
Relax your muscles.
And be here for a moment.
Breathing into your own heart.
Nothing to do.
Simply feeling.
You may notice your ears ringing.
It's okay.
Your heart may beat faster because you're just not used to the feeling of being in your heart.
It's okay.
And you can feel your feet firmly planted.
Here you are in your body.
Fully present.
You experiencing yourself.
The soul inside of the body.
Coordinating,
Harmonizing with the mind and with the heart.
At ease.
Nothing to do,
Just being present.
And set the intention that from this space of inner harmony,
Your body can calibrate.
To this frequency of harmony.
Your body can relax.
Reorganize the cells,
The energy inside.
To this frequency of peace,
Of calm.
And that your mind knows the pathway can bring you back to this experience of calm at any time.
And with a big exhale,
We are slowly going to make our way out of the meditation experience,
But keep your eyes open.
Closed for just a moment longer.
Allow yourself to feel your feet,
Maybe wiggle your toes.
Allow yourself to come all the way back into full awareness in this human moment so you can slowly open your eyes and look at me or look at one thing in front of you.
I like to hold a crystal in my hand and so I'll start wiggling my fingers around the crystal and I'll wiggle my toes.
Maybe start moving my shoulders.
And allow yourself to come back into being.
This awakened state of awareness.
Notice how it feels in your heart.
Notice how your body feels to be so present.
And how calm and focused,
Laser focused your mind is.
The most powerful place for us to be.
Is fully present in our own body.
Harmonizing mind,
Body,
Heart,
And soul.
And so this experience shows you a way.
And then you get to play with it and practice and find your own.
Immediate beautiful way.
Into this inner harmony.
I encourage you to drink a big glass of water.
To move slowly from this space and allow it to integrate into your life.
When you walk into a room in this energy,
You change the frequency of the entire room.
It is good for you.
It is good for the world.
To be at ease in this way.
