At first, this might feel a bit silly or unnatural, but with time, patience, and persistence, this practice will benefit you physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. I started practicing this chant in early morning Sadhna class at a local yoga studio here in Birmingham, Alabama, and this chant stuck with me. I hope that you regularly practice this chant along with others to strengthen your throat chakra and expand your auric field. Namaste.

Welcome.

Today we'll be chanting Long Ek Onkar.

You're welcome to chant along.

You're also welcome to simply rest in the vibration.

Let's begin by aligning our spine,

Sitting up nice and erect so that the prana,

The life force energy,

Is able to flow freely to and through you.

You're welcome to practice with your eyes open or your eyes closed,

Whatever feels most aligned in your practice today.

We'll begin by taking a deep breath in through the nose.

Exhale out through the nose.

Two more just like that.

Inhale and exhale out.

Last one.

Inhale deeply and exhale completely.

Let's begin.
