Namaste my friends.
This is a meditation for when you feel misrepresented,
Angry,
Even rightfully so,
Tired,
Misunderstood,
Or anxious about your surroundings,
Your environment,
The people around you.
I want to start this by saying you're never alone in anything.
And it's so easy to find people who don't understand us,
Who criticize us,
Environments that don't feel safe for us.
Sometimes it feels like there's more of these than there is the ones that do serve us.
But I promise you,
There's so many places,
People,
And things that are delighted to have and to hold you,
And I'm definitely one of those people.
So I invite you in to the safe space,
Dropping in fully.
Bring your pain.
You don't need to thrust it away.
It's all part of it,
And I'm here to work through it with you.
Just start by noticing the space around you.
Fill your body in space.
Give yourself permission to slow down.
Just noticing your breath.
Is it shallow?
Is it constructed?
Is it flowing?
I want to invite you to just open space for the breath,
To have longer exhales.
See as though the ground beneath you rises to meet you.
Feel as though,
If you're standing,
That the floor rises to hold you.
If you're sitting,
That the chair,
The cushion,
The pillow,
Or the bed rises to hold you.
Imagine the space around you being honored to hold space with you.
Imagine as if everything around you is turning to smile.
Slowly extend your exhales.
Inhaling in,
Pausing between inhale and exhale,
And exhaling,
Releasing,
Allowing.
Relax your eyes,
The space behind them.
Relax your temples,
Your jaw.
Tuck your chin,
Elongating the neck.
Relax your shoulders,
Your elbows.
Breathing fully,
Each breath washing away the frustrations.
Continue inhaling and exhaling,
Relaxing your chest,
Your beautiful heart.
Relaxing your stomach,
Your hips.
Relaxing your legs,
Your thighs,
Behind your knees,
Your calves,
Your feet,
Your fingers,
And toes.
You don't need to hold yourself together anymore.
You don't need to hold thoughts in your brain.
I promise,
What you need to remember,
You will.
What you're meant to know,
You will.
Where you're meant to go,
You will go.
Allow yourself to fully embrace the paradise of this moment.
With your breath and your own beautiful presence that is an honor to be around.
You are an honor.
You are a delight.
You are a gift to this earth.
And I know so many things can make us feel the opposite,
But I assure you,
They are wrong.
Even on your worst day,
You're still incredibly worthy.
Your worthiness does not change.
You're made in the image of what has made sunrises and sunsets,
Oceans,
Forests,
And beautiful views.
No mistakes have been made.
Breathe into this,
Remembering that you are a gift and that you are not wrong,
That you are so worthy of the things you dream of and desire.
Breathing in.
Pausing.
And releasing with your exhale.
Again,
Breathing in.
Pausing.
And releasing.
You are a wonderful person,
And you will do many wonderful things.
I know it's not easy,
But don't let anyone says or does get in your way.
But know that it's okay to be angry too.
It's okay to be frustrated.
It's okay to be tired.
These are the emotions and the feelings and sensations that we can invite in.
And it breaks down the resistance.
And in this lack of resistance,
They become softer and gentler against our skin.
And as we peel back the layers of anger,
We may find grief behind frustration.
We might find yearning,
Longing for something more.
It's all possible for you.
And as you continue to invite in your emotions and to hold space for them in your full human experience,
It becomes that much easier to pursue all that your heart desires.
Let pursuing your purpose be a way of handling your grief,
Your frustration,
Your pain.
As you pour your heart into everything you do,
You will attract the right people,
Places,
And things.
You don't have to feel scared,
Angry,
Upset anymore.
Invite them in like humble visitors.
Come back as often as you need.
Stay in this space as long as you need,
Embracing your own paradise and seeing what a delight you are.
It's an honor to know and to love you.
Take one final deep breath in,
Pausing,
And releasing what no longer serves you.
You're doing amazing.
Namaste.
