Good morning.
Welcome to the start of a brand new day.
Let's take a few moments this morning to care for yourself before you start to care for others.
A moment of stillness and quiet to set your intention for the day ahead.
I invite you to soften your gaze or close your eyes once more,
Just as you were in the early hours of the morning,
Allowing your body to find that place of relaxation once more.
Taking a deep breath in through your nose and welcoming this new day with open arms.
Exhaling,
Will you release any tension from the day ahead or fatigue from the night before?
Follow your breath and use it as a steady anchor back into your body.
Follow my voice as I guide you through some affirmations.
For the day ahead.
Maybe you wish to cultivate more patience.
I can handle the challenges of today with grace and patience.
Maybe you wish to cultivate more connection.
I will show up fully and focus on presence instead of perfection.
Maybe you wish to cultivate more rest.
I honor my own needs while taking care of others.
Maybe you wish to cultivate more gratitude.
I choose to look for things to be thankful for.
Allowing these affirmations to sink in and set the tone for your day.
In the words of the Buddha,
Each morning we are born again.
What we do today matters most.
Take a few deep breaths here to close your practice.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes and step into your day.
Make it a great one.
