We know what it means to a person when they feel they are totally seen,

They're totally heard,

They're totally felt and they matter.

They feel valuable.

These are essential to a feeling of wholeness and thriving for all human beings.

The gift of this kind of attention is hard to express.

It's so redemptive.

It's so healing.

It's so transforming.

And we can offer ourselves this gift every day,

Taking this time for total self-attention.

Offering ourselves this blessing,

This gift of a gaze which sees us,

Of inner ears which listen on the inside,

Of a body which is allowed to feel what it feels and know even the most subtle feelings which are there.

With an attention,

An embrace which makes us recognise and feel just how valuable we are.

So allow yourself to cross that sacred portal into your own inner being.

You are about to receive this total self-attention,

This beautiful warm embrace in all the parts of you which you want to make amends with,

Which are looking for forgiveness or healing.

To be accepted,

To be treasured again,

Will arise so gratefully under the warmth of this gaze.

So let all of you be present and we'll begin.

So feeling into your body,

Your physical body,

From the crown of your head,

Feeling with your attention all the way down your body to your feet.

The home you live in,

This body which is so precious.

And say to your body,

I see you.

I hear you,

I am listening.

I feel you.

You are valuable to me.

Let your body drink that in.

Feel how it responds.

Even if there are any places of resistance,

Soften them with the best of your attention.

I see you.

I hear you,

I am listening.

Thank you for showing me,

Thank you for giving me this information.

I care.

I feel you,

I am here.

You are valuable to me and precious.

Now bring your awareness to your mind,

To your thoughts that are always there.

And knowing that you have that gift of knowing how to look after your thoughts and nurture them.

To respond to them generously.

To listen for the information they give you about how to look after yourself and how to proceed.

Your thoughts nurture you.

It matters what is on your mind.

We do not want to blank our mind.

So to your mind now you can say,

I see you,

I hear you,

I am listening.

I feel you.

You are valuable to me.

You have a valuable mind.

And bring the warmth of your attention now to your heart.

Your heart which is the keeper of your truth.

And every touch of life upon you.

Your heart which is the holder of your history.

Your feelings,

Tender,

Passionate and deep.

Your heart which lives to its own beat.

To that sacred temple you can say,

Heart I see you.

I hear you,

I am listening to my heart.

I feel you.

Feel the breath moving in and out of your heart.

Front,

Back and sides.

How your heart expands and gathers in and expands again.

Resilient strong heart.

Honest right there.

You can feel your heart.

Heart,

You are valuable to me.

Let your heart receive and bathe in these words.

And now to your spirit.

Your amazing spirit.

Your unique spirit.

What a spirit you have.

With so much more to show you.

Revelatory.

You can get excited about your spirit.

You can say to your spirit now,

I see you.

I hear you,

I am listening.

I feel you.

You feel your spirit moving through you powerfully.

Spirit,

You are valuable to me.

And now simply rest.

Rest deeply into this golden honouring embrace.

Let it fill you.

Let it permeate your being.

I see you.

I hear you.

I feel you.

You are so valuable to me.

I feel you.

What sensations are there?

Now that you have bathed yourself in this sacred honoring gaze and recognized yourself As you prepare to transition stay close to these feelings and allow these words this gaze to continue to thrive in you Even as you move into the next phase of your day To bring yourself back honoring me move gently stretch organically find the pleasure of your breath And feel yourself coming to you as you move into the next phase of your day Find the pleasure of your breath and feel yourself coming back into the outside world again with a readiness and a wholeness You

Oh, wow. How I have missed this feeling. As we get older those who adored us have passed away, taking with them that external loving embrace. And so we must come back to ourselves and find our internal love for body, mind, heart and spirit. Truly, who will always be with us but our Divine Self.
