May you be healthy.
May you live with ease.
Visualize this person in your mind's eye and imagine them receiving your loving kindness and well wishes.
Feel the love and care flowing from your heart toward them.
Now,
Expand your circle of loving kindness to include others in your life.
Repeat the following phrases extending your well wishes to.
May all beings be happy.
May all beings be peaceful.
May all beings be healthy.
May all beings live with ease.
Envision all beings near and far,
Human and non-human,
Receiving your loving kindness and goodwill.
Allow your heart to expand with a sense of interconnectedness and compassion for all beings.
Rest in this space of loving kindness and compassion for as long as you like,
Basking in the positive energy you have cultivated.
When you are ready to conclude this practice,
Gently bring your attention back to your breath.
Take a few more deep breaths,
Gradually reawakening your body and mind.
Open your eyes,
Bringing your attention back to the present moment.
Carry this sense of loving kindness and compassion with you as you go about your day,
Knowing that you have the capacity to extend love and goodwill toward yourself and others.
