A poem Alyssa wrote to celebrate the feeling of when you make it to the other side of grief, pain and trauma. It feels like spring after the longest winter. A sensory experience set to uplifting music and calm waves to finish, close your eyes and breathe calmly. Music by Dan Henig

And one day you're on the other side No longer sideways you got through the waves grief comes in waves Sometimes for days days months years no longer gasping grasping Clear Headed clear skies are up ahead.

It may not be gone forever In fact,

I'd be naive to say it was oh How it was But I know in my bones that I chose to get up today and the Sun was shining I didn't feel like pining or whining.

I would never tell a greever She's whining but bring me a glass of wine because I'm on the other side
