Hi,
Welcome to your sacred verse.
I invite you to simply receive it,
Close your eyes,
Sit back,
Maybe put your feet up,
And allow the words,
The sounds,
The rhymes,
And the stories to simply,
Softly.
I've spent an entire life dreaming of my future,
Manifesting some vision,
Desire,
Or mission.
I've experienced magic,
Visions become forms.
I've experienced delusion,
When dreams create storms.
I've pushed and I've pulled,
I've twisted and shaped,
Life to do what I want,
Like some superhero in a cape.
The anti-hero I was for all of this wrestling.
I had it quite wrong,
It made life very messy.
If life were the wind,
I was a bird flying blind,
Refusing to glide,
Making the struggle all mine.
Yet,
There was a whisper in my mind,
Saying,
This isn't the way.
The whisper got louder when I continued astray,
Proving and showing my worth to no one,
But my starving inner child,
Whose hunger could not be outdone,
Until her hard working mama died,
This sweet little girl,
Who a woman by then,
Let the whisper become a pearl.
Wisdom you see is not what you think,
It's sitting there waiting,
For you to take a drink,
Of lessons and messages,
In this moment now,
Carried on the wind,
So you will know how.
To take life as it comes,
To cease planning and visions,
Allow your dreams now,
To become God's creations.
For dreaming is natural,
Never stop doing this,
Simply trusting the flow,
Is a new kind of bliss.
If a dream is yours to have,
It will come with an ease,
That is strange and is magical,
Yet as natural as the trees.
If the dream is not yours,
It will not come to be,
Life will take you elsewhere,
Let your controlling urges flee.
For to live in the moment with a heart full of peace,
We must allow life to take us and sweep us off our feet.
