Many of us desire an outcome that we associate with success,

Yet we can find ourselves getting in our own way.

This is a short tap you can do regularly to help accept and potentially dissolve some of the resistance you have to your own success.

Take a minute and close your eyes if you feel comfortable.

Tune into what your next level of success would look like for you.

Make note of any feelings that come up as you picture this future.

No need to label them good or bad,

Just notice.

We're going to do two things today.

Tap lightly on specific parts of your body while we talk about the subject in a call and response fashion.

Ideally,

You'll say the words I'm saying out loud,

But if you can't,

Just tap along and repeat in your head.

And if I say something that doesn't resonate with you,

Feel free to replace the words so the statement makes the most sense for you.

And if you feel yourself wanting to yawn,

Burp,

Emote,

This is all really normal and don't hold back.

When you're ready,

You can open your eyes or keep them closed if you prefer.

And start by finding the sore spots on the front of the chest and give them a gentle rub.

And begin repeating after me.

There's a part of me that can see the next level of my success.

There's a part of me that is wanting to feel successful.

There's a part of me that can see the next level of my success.

Take a deep breath in through your nose with an audible exhale out your mouth.

Tapping the start of the eyebrow.

There's also a part of me that is afraid of the next level of my success.

Tapping the side of the eye.

Even though there's a part of me that is afraid,

I love and accept myself.

A deep breath.

Tapping under the eye.

Even though there's a part of me that is afraid,

I love and accept myself.

Tapping under the nose.

What if I try to go after this next level of success and I fail?

Tapping under the lip.

What if I fail?

Tapping the chest.

I really don't want to fail.

Tapping the top of the ribs.

Failure is painful.

Tapping the side of the ribs.

Failure is embarrassing.

Tapping the inner wrist.

There's a part of me that would rather not try than to fail.

Tapping the side of the thumb.

Even though there's a part of me not trying because I'm afraid of failing,

I love and forgive myself.

Deep breath.

Tapping the side of the index finger.

There's also a part of me that's afraid of succeeding.

Tapping the side of the middle finger.

What if I go after the next level and succeed?

Tapping underneath the ring finger.

What might happen then?

Tapping the top of the pinky.

I'm afraid that if I succeed,

Other people may judge me.

Tapping the side of the hand.

I'm afraid that if I succeed,

I'll have a lot more work to do.

Tapping the top of the head.

I'm afraid that if I succeed,

I might lose it all.

Deep breath.

Tapping the start of the eyebrow.

What else?

Finish this sentence on your own.

I'm afraid if I succeed.

Tapping the side of the eye.

One more time with your own statement.

I'm afraid if I succeed.

Tapping under the eye.

Sometimes success is more scary than failure.

Tapping under the nose.

Sometimes success is more scary than failure.

Tapping under the lip.

Even though I'm afraid of my own success,

I love and honor myself.

Tapping the chest.

I'm giving myself permission to acknowledge that both failure and success can be scary.

Taking a deep breath.

Tapping the top of the ribs.

Because I find failure and success scary,

A part of me is choosing to stay where I am.

Tapping the side of the ribs.

Even though I'm choosing to stay where I am,

I love and respect myself.

Tapping the inner wrist.

There's a part of me that wants to move forward.

Tapping the side of the thumb.

There's a part of me that wants to move forward.

Tapping the side of the index finger.

There's a part of me that wants to feel safe with success.

Tapping the side of the middle finger.

There's a part of me that wants to feel safe with success.

Take a deep breath.

Tapping under the ring finger.

I've experienced both failure and success in the past,

And I've been safe.

Tapping the top of the pinky.

I've experienced both failure and success in the past,

And I've been safe.

Tapping the side of the hand.

It is safe for me to try.

Tapping the top of the head.

It is safe for me to try.

Tapping the start of the eyebrow.

It is safe for me to get to the next level.

Tapping the side of the eye.

It is safe for me to get to the next level.

Tapping under the eye.

I am safe going after my dreams.

Tapping under the nose.

I am safe going after my dreams.

Tapping under the lip.

I feel safe with success.

Tapping the chest.

I feel safe with success.

I feel safe with success.

Take a deep breath.

I love and honor myself.

Finishing by tapping all over the body.

I love and honor myself.

I am safe with success.

When you feel complete,

Close your eyes if you feel comfortable,

And gently rest your hands on your lap.

Taking a deep breath,

And just noticing the feeling in your body now after this short tap.

Feel free to use this tap regularly as you work to achieve your dreams.

Thank you for being here with me.
