Welcome to day one of radiance.
For this practice,
Feel free to sit in any comfortable position.
If you'd like,
Bring your eyes to close.
And take a nice slow,
Deep breath in.
Release your jaw and slowly breathe out through an open mouth.
Repeat that two more times,
Breathing in nice and deeply through your nose.
Gentle release of the jaw,
Side out exhaling.
One more time,
Deep breath in.
Complete breath out.
And then just take a little inventory of yourself.
Drop into your body.
And just notice how you're feeling today.
Remembering that this is your time to slow down.
To unplug from the external world and to really recalibrate yourself by coming home to your body.
And taking time to consciously process physically.
However you've been experiencing life.
So that you can begin to build your own vitality and really tap into this inner radiance.
That your body holds as its potential.
So honoring the intention of this journey.
And then noticing your hands.
And bring your hands to touch and begin to rub your hands together just to warm them up.
To energize them a little bit.
Continuing to breathe deeply and then bring your hands to rest around the back of your neck and just let the weight of the hands kind of begin sinking in to your neck.
And we're going to do a little self-massage here.
In any way that feels good to you.
There's no wrong way to do this.
I want you to just dig your fingers gently into the back of your neck,
Maybe along the base of your skull.
And just massage out the muscles.
And our focus today is to really massage and release tension not only from the neck but also the jaw the face,
And the scalp.
So from your neck.
When it feels right for you.
Begin to explore all of these places.
Working your way forward,
Maybe stroking gently along the front of your throat.
And then massaging along your jawline.
Get really curious about what feels good in this moment.
And give yourself more of that.
As you're exploring your own neck and jaw,
Face and scalp.
You may want to let your head rock a little side to side or forward and back.
Just be fluid.
Maybe your jaw,
Your mouth is opening and closing.
Working around your eyes,
Maybe massaging your temples.
And again,
Make sure you get into your scalp and massage your scalp,
Maybe even giving a little tug on your hair to release energy.
Taking just a few more moments to complete your massage.
And slowly releasing your hands,
Maybe letting them come back down to rest in your lap or over your thighs.
Notice what's tingling,
What feels alive,
Especially within these areas that you just massaged your neck,
Jaw,
Your face,
Your scalp.
As we all know,
The head holds the brain,
And the brain.
.
.
Works really hard.
And our face reveals our expression.
It highlights our emotional state.
And so it too works really hard all the time.
And many of us live up in our head for most of our days.
So just giving it a little attention and helping it relax.
So as you're noticing,
Any sensations.
Post massage in this area.
Maybe rock your head a little side to side again or forward and back.
And then let your attention drop down into your heart.
Into your belly,
Into your pelvis,
Your legs,
Your feet.
Integrating your whole body.
In this moment.
And taking one or two last deep breaths in and out.
And gratitude for giving yourself this time.
And as we close out today's session,
I want you to let your awareness land on your radiance.
Whatever that means to you in this moment.
For me,
Radiance is my aliveness,
And it's my aliveness unleashed.
Even after just massaging my neck a little,
My face,
My scalp a little,
I feel like more of my aliveness has now been unleashed.
It's free to shine.
And maybe you feel something similar.
