Closing the eyes,
Connecting with the breath,
Slowing down,
Switching off.
I'd like you to remember a place that brought you peace,
A place where you felt safe and comfortable,
Happy and contented,
A place that felt so peaceful that it generated feelings of deep inner peace.
Imagine,
Sense,
Pretend,
Visualise that place now.
Remember what it looks like,
Are there people there with you or are you alone,
It feels so peaceful.
What do you hear,
Is there gentle music or sounds of nature or conversation or silence,
Whatever you hear,
It's ringing about feelings of peace,
Are there smells and tastes and how does it feel?
Where do you feel that energy,
That emotion of peace,
Notice it within your body and expand it within you and bring back that feeling of inner peace as you have a gentle stretch,
A slightly deeper breath in and out and open your eyes,
Returning to the day.
