Welcome.
This meditation is part one of a four-part Reiki transmission series,
Each designed to bring you deeper into self-trust,
Inner safety and energetic alignment.
If you've been holding it all together for too long,
This is a space where you don't have to anymore.
You don't need to do this perfectly.
You don't even need to relax right away.
Just being here is enough.
This is your time to gently return to yourself.
Take a moment to settle.
Let your body find a position that feels supported.
This is a space where nothing is expected of you.
You don't need to sit perfectly.
You don't need to do this right.
Just allow yourself to arrive.
This is just the beginning.
Now gently close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in through the nose.
And release it through the mouth.
And again,
Breathe in through the nose.
Release through the mouth.
There is nowhere else you need to be right now.
Nothing to fix.
Nothing to prove.
Nothing to perform.
This meditation is a return.
A return to yourself.
A return to the part of you that never actually left.
If you've been over-giving,
Over-thinking,
Waiting for someone to choose you,
Or feeling like you've slowly drifted away from your own center,
You're in the right place.
Today,
Whenever you're listening,
We are not forcing healing.
We are allowing reconnection.
And as we begin,
I'm opening this space as a Reiki field for self-trust and inner safety.
You don't need to know anything about Reiki for it to support you.
Simply set a quiet intention.
I am willing to come back to myself.
Take a breath with that thought.
Now,
I want you to bring awareness to your body.
First to your feet.
Feel where they meet the floor,
The bed,
Or the surface beneath you.
Let your awareness travel up through your legs,
Your hips,
Your abdomen.
Notice your chest rising and falling.
You don't need to change your breath.
Just let it be witnessed.
We often move through life slightly outside ourselves.
Watching ourself.
Managing how we appear.
Anticipating others' responses.
So,
If it feels unfamiliar to be inside your own body right now,
That's okay.
You are not behind.
You are returning.
Take another slow breath into your belly.
Let it expand gently and then exhale.
With every breath out,
Imagine you are landing more fully inside yourself.
Like your awareness is dropping anchor.
You are safe enough to be here right now.
There may have been moments in your life,
Recently or in the past,
When staying connected to yourself didn't feel safe.
Moments where you learned to adjust.
This could have come from your childhood.
That you had to soften your needs.
That you had to stay quiet.
That you needed to overextend yourself at work.
To read the room.
To anticipate rejection.
To hold everything together when it felt like there was no support.
At some point,
Abandoning yourself may have felt like survival.
So,
We are not here to judge that pattern.
We are here to gently unwind it.
Now,
Silently repeat,
I did what I needed to do to survive.
And now,
I am learning how to stay.
Feel that.
Whatever you are carrying,
You don't have to push it away.
No shame.
No urgency.
No pressure to be healed.
Just a willingness to stay with yourself a little longer than usual.
Now,
Imagine a soft light above you.
It may feel warm,
Cool,
Golden,
Silver,
Or simply spacious.
This light represents supportive,
Intelligent energy.
It does not force.
It does not overwhelm.
It simply offers.
Allow this light to gently rest above the crown of your head.
With each breath,
It begins to flow downward.
Through the top of your head,
Into your mind,
Your throat,
Your chest.
This energy is not here to change who you are.
It is here to remind you who you are when you are not abandoning yourself.
Now,
Let it flow into your heart space.
You may notice sensation.
You may notice nothing.
Both are perfect.
Now,
Silently repeat,
I am safe to be with myself.
I am learning to stay on my own side.
Somewhere within you is a part that leaves when things feel uncertain.
The part that checks for messages.
The part that over-analyzes tone from others.
The part that wonders if you said too much or too little.
The part that gives more so you won't be left.
The part that shrinks so you won't be rejected.
We are not pushing that part away.
We are meeting it.
Now,
Imagine that version of you sitting nearby,
Not as a problem,
But as a younger aspect of you trying to keep connection.
Notice how they feel.
Are they anxious?
Tired?
Hyper-aware?
Hopeful?
Or braced?
Just observe.
Now,
From your present self,
Gently say to them,
You don't have to leave me anymore.
I am here.
I am staying.
Let those words land.
You don't need to force belief.
Just offer the message.
Now,
Imagine that younger or protective part of you slowly moving closer.
Not because they have to,
But because they are invited.
You are not chasing them.
You are making yourself available.
Feel your breath.
Feel your body.
Feel the steady presence of you.
Now,
Silently repeat,
I am not abandoning myself in this moment.
I am staying.
Even if it's uncomfortable.
Even if it's unfamiliar.
I am staying.
Let the energy of Reiki continue to flow through your chest,
Down into your solar plexus,
Behind your belly button,
Supporting your nervous system.
You could notice emotions starting to rise.
Warmth.
Tears.
Relief.
All of it is welcome.
Self-trust is not built in one dramatic moment.
It is built in small,
Quiet decisions to remain.
Every time you stay present with your own feelings,
Instead of running from them,
Self-trust grows.
Every time you honor your inner knowing,
Instead of overriding it,
Self-trust grows.
Every time you comfort yourself,
Instead of waiting for someone else to do it,
Self-trust grows.
Take a deep breath.
Feel your spine gently lengthen.
Now,
Silently repeat,
I am learning to trust myself again.
I am learning to support myself.
I am learning that I can stay.
Let those words echo inside you.
Bring one hand to your heart,
Or simply imagine warmth in your chest now.
Inner safety does not mean life is always going to be calm.
It means you know how to return to yourself.
When it isn't,
Feel the surface beneath you.
Feel gravity holding you.
You are supported in this moment.
Silently repeat,
I am safe enough right now.
I can be with myself right now.
I do not need to disappear.
Now,
Let your shoulders soften,
Your jaw unclench.
Let your breath deepen just a little bit more.
It is normal for people to abandon themselves by over-giving,
Giving away time,
Energy,
Attention,
Reassurance.
Not because they are weak,
But because they are trying to secure connection.
Tonight you do not need to earn connection.
You are practicing giving some of that energy back to yourself.
Imagine gathering all the energy you've been sending outward to people,
To situations,
To worries,
To imagined conversations.
Gently call it all back.
See it returning to your chest,
Like light coming home.
You are not cutting people up.
You are rebalancing.
Now silently repeat,
My energy belongs with me first.
I can care for others without leaving myself.
I am allowed to stay.
Feel that.
Imagine the Reiki energy flowing more strongly now.
Not overwhelming,
But steady.
It fills your chest,
Your stomach,
Your hips,
Your legs.
It moves through your nervous system like warm water,
Untangling urgency,
Softening hypervigilance,
Repairing the inner bond,
Creating space.
Your system does not need to be on high alert in this moment.
You are allowed to rest inside yourself.
Now silently repeat,
I trust myself to stay present.
I trust myself to care for myself.
I trust myself to return when I drift.
Now imagine yourself a few months from now,
Not perfect,
Not untriggered,
But more anchored.
This future version of you knows how to pause before abandoning themselves.
It knows how to breathe.
It knows how to stay.
See them standing in front of you.
Notice their posture,
Their eyes,
Their energy.
They are not hard.
They are steady.
They say to you,
You don't have to chase.
You don't have to shrink.
You don't have to leave yourself to be loved.
Stay with yourself.
I'll meet you there.
Let those words settle.
Now imagine stepping into that version of you,
Gently merging.
Feel what it's like to inhabit a body that stays.
Take a breath as them.
Now I want you to bring awareness back to your breath.
Back to the surface beneath you.
Back to the room.
Notice any shifts,
Even subtle ones.
You may feel calmer.
You may feel emotional.
You may feel nothing obvious at all.
What matters is this.
You practiced staying.
You may notice this strengthens each time you return to this meditation.
Trusting in yourself.
Your timing.
Your own knowing.
Repeat to yourself,
I can return to myself again and again.
I am building self-trust.
I am building inner safety.
I am staying.
Take one final deep breath.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Carry this feeling with you.
You do not need to abandon yourself to be connected.
You do not need to disappear to be loved.
You can stay on your own side.
And every time you return to yourself,
You strengthen the safest relationship you will ever have.
You can listen to this meditation however often you need.
Welcome back.
