As we start this meditation,
Get as comfortable as you can.
Let your arms and legs feel heavy and let your body sink down into the chair or the bed and feel the pull of gravity.
Take a deep breath in and out.
And feel your belly rise and fall with each deep breath and start to feel a sense of warmth or glowing in your heart.
Maybe you can direct your breath to your heart and feel this warm energy surrounding your heart.
And you can feel it as love,
Love for yourself.
And start to expand this warm glowing ball that surrounds your heart until it fills your chest and your entire torso.
Send it into your shoulders and down your arms and into your hands and each finger one at a time.
And let this energy expand into your neck and your head and face.
And then feel it go down into your hips and pelvis,
Down your thighs,
Into your lower legs and your feet.
And now feel your entire body surrounded by this glowing ball of energy.
And notice if there's a part of your body that needs some extra love or attention.
And direct this energy there.
You can even put your hands on this body part and send it some love.
Now,
Visualize a home,
It could be a house or a condo,
But make it your dream home.
And as you are approaching this home,
Wander through the yard.
Does it have a garden?
Is it surrounded by a lush forest?
Does it have an ocean view?
What is the weather like?
And as you approach the door,
It opens and you see the future version of yourself standing there looking so radiant and so happy.
Notice how you're moving,
What you're wearing,
What color.
And take a tour of your dream home,
The sparkling kitchen,
The living room,
The master bedroom.
What kind of bed do you have?
What kind of sheets?
What is the view from your bedroom when you wake up?
Do you have a morning ritual?
Maybe some meditation or yoga before you start each day?
How are you spending your day?
What are you proud of?
What have been your biggest accomplishments?
And what are you continuing to accomplish?
Who are you surrounding yourself with?
Is there a partner there with you?
Do you have any pets?
And what are you teaching the younger people in your life?
What is making this future version of you so happy and radiant?
And ask this future version of you for any words of wisdom or advice.
Fully receive this advice.
Take these words into your heart and breathe this advice into your whole body.
And now thank this future version of yourself with words or a hug or a gift and make your way back to the front door.
As you exit this beautiful home and knowing that you'll return,
Take a moment to enjoy the yard and slowly start to transition back to the room that you are in,
Taking your time.
Start to notice the temperature of the air on your skin.
You can start to move your fingers and toes and take a big stretch.
Take as long as you want to transition back to your day.
