Welcome,
I hope you are well.
Take your time to find a comfortable meditative position.
This could be seated or laying down,
Whatever's most comfortable for you.
Beginning to close the eyes,
If you'd like to close the eyes.
And bring your awareness into your breath.
Taking a few big,
Full inhales,
Expand your system on the inhale.
Let it take up space.
And then releasing,
Letting go,
Softening on your exhales.
A few more just like that.
Big,
Full inhales.
Let your energy stretch.
And then exhale,
Soften.
One more time the biggest fullest inhale you've taken all day filling up from your toes to the crown of your head Exhale,
Release and arrive.
Start with grounding down into your seat.
Feel the Earth rise up to meet you,
To support you.
And come fully in to this present moment.
Feeling into the physical body.
How is the physical body today?
Notice how the body is connected to the earth.
Notice the air on your skin.
Noticing if there are any sounds around you in the background.
Are there any scents on your nose?
Is there any taste in your mouth?
Now begin to notice.
The quiet stillness in your heart center.
Notice a sense of gratitude and peace here.
Notice a calm safety.
A deep sense of trust.
Now,
Begin to imagine all of your thoughts,
Memories,
Expectations,
To-do lists,
Floating around your head.
As if you're sitting in the middle of a snow globe that someone is shaking.
And all of this clutter of the mind is swirling around you in chaos.
Deep in the center of your heart,
You are still grounded.
But the clutter is swirling around.
It's distracting.
And it makes it hard to see clearly.
You realize that you're the one shaking your snow globe.
And as you quiet your mind,
Focusing on your breath and coming back into your heart.
You simply stop the shaking.
All of the thoughts slowly settle down.
Down to the earth where they can be neutralized and recycled.
Letting all of the inner chatter and outside noise go.
So that you can listen to your own heart.
What is she whispering to you?
Is there anything that she wants to tell you?
To remind you.
Just stay quiet.
And listen.
And slowly beginning to bring your awareness back into the body,
Back into the breath.
And keeping this connection with your heart.
As you begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
And reawaken into your day.
Hari Om.
