Hello it's Aisha.
Good morning and welcome to this five minute morning meditation.
This will be an uplifting and an energizing meditation that will infuse a wave of positivity into your day,
Setting you up to have an amazing day.
So whether you are lying down in your bed or sitting down in a chair,
Just take a moment here to close down the eyes as you gently bring your focus to the breath.
Simply observe your breath as it enters and exits the nostrils.
Total awareness of your breath.
Let's now take a deep breath in through the nose and a slow breath out the mouth.
Feel your body waking up as you take another deep breath in through the nose and a slow breath out the mouth.
I now invite you to mentally repeat the following words to yourself.
As I welcome in this new day,
I know that today will be a great day.
As I welcome in this new day,
I know that today will be a great day.
As I welcome in this new day,
I know that today will be a great day.
I choose how I will feel today.
I choose to feel good today.
Today is a new beginning.
Today is a new day.
I now invite you to think about how you would like your day to go.
What do you want to happen today?
How do you want the day to unfold?
How do you want to feel today?
I want you to really create this picture of your day in your mind's eye.
Visualize the day ahead in your mind's eye and let yourself really connect to the feeling state that surrounds the events of the day.
Visualize the day ahead in your mind's eye and as you continue to manifest your day,
Think about how you would feel if the day unfolded in this perfect way.
Would you feel excited,
Joyful,
Calm,
Content?
Feel the feeling,
Mount deep into this wonderful feeling.
Feel your body,
Embodying the feeling of this wonderful day.
See it in your mind's eye,
Feel it in your body.
See it clearly in your mind's eye,
Feel it completely in your body.
And as you savor these last few moments of this visualization,
Take a nice deep breath in through the nose and a slow breath out the mouth.
Now just surrender and prepare to have a great day.
Today will be an amazing day.
Something wonderful will happen to me today.
I am ready for the day.
It will all unfold in the most wonderful way.
Today will be an amazing day.
Something truly wonderful will happen to you today.
You are ready for the day.
Today will unfold in the most wonderful way.
Now slowly begin to make your way out of this guided meditation,
Wiggling the fingers and the toes,
Perhaps taking a nice big stretch if the body is craving that type of movement.
From there,
Taking one last deep breath in through the nose and a grounding breath out the mouth.
