Take a moment to settle in.

You don't need to do anything special.

You're already doing enough just by being here.

This is your morning.

You don't have to rush it right now.

Notice that you are awake.

That's it.

Just notice.

Your mind might already be busy.

Thinking about today,

Thinking about yesterday,

Thinking about random things.

That's okay.

A busy mind is not the problem.

You don't need to stop your thoughts.

You don't need to fix them.

Just let them be there.

Think of your thoughts like background noise.

They can play quietly while you stay here.

This is a new day.

It hasn't happened before.

You don't need to figure it all out yet.

You only need to be here for this moment.

If your attention drifts,

That's normal.

When you notice it drifting,

Gently come back.

No judging,

No frustration.

Take a few moments to notice what's holding you up right now.

A chair,

A bed,

The floor.

You are supported.

You don't have to hold everything on your own.

There are many things helping you be here.

Some you see,

Some you don't.

Let yourself feel a little appreciation for that.

Now,

Gently check in with yourself.

Ask quietly,

What do I need today?

Whatever comes up is okay.

This is your time.

Now,

Choose a simple intention for today.

Keep it light.

Something light.

I'll be kind to myself.

I'll take things one step at a time.

I'll pause when I remember.

This isn't a rule.

This is just a reminder.

When you're ready,

Gently move into your morning.

Carry this calm with you,

Even if it fades,

Even if it comes and goes.

You are doing just fine.
