This guided audio practice is perfect for helping you to feel more grounded, settled, relaxed, and in touch with your body. We reccommend using this meditation if you're feeling anxious, spacy, fearful, unfocused, or if you're traveling or going through a major life change. The meditation uses the Solfeggio frequency, the frequency produced by Mother Earth, in order to help you feel more connected and at one with the earth and nature.

Welcome to Bigger Life Adventures Grounding Meditation.

My name is Zach and I will be guiding you through this exercise for the next 10 minutes.

This meditation is a great way to settle yourself if you're feeling anxious,

Triggered,

Or just in a bad mood.

During the meditation I will play a sound.

This is the Schumann Resonance,

Otherwise known as the Earth's frequency.

You can read more about this frequency on our blog post on biggerlifeadventures.

Com but for now just know that the sound is grounding,

Calming,

And soothing.

If you feel uncomfortable at any point please stick with it as this is part of the process.

The feeling will pass as quickly as it arose.

Just follow my instructions.

Begin in a seated position,

Crossing your legs if that's comfortable or if you're new to meditation you can sit in a chair with your feet flat on the ground.

Place your hands on your knees.

Open them so your palms face upwards.

Connect your forefinger and thumb.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

Notice any smells.

Breathe out slowly through your nose and listen to any sounds around you.

Feel the air as it covers your skin.

Is it hot?

Is it cold?

Take another deep breath and then exhale gently close your eyes.

Divert your attention from the external world around you.

Bring your focus inside of your body.

Try to silence your mind bringing all of your attention to the feeling of your body.

If thoughts sneak in acknowledge them and simply let them pass by like a cloud in the sky.

Take three deep breaths with me inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.

Continue breathing deeply through the nose throughout this exercise.

Now focus your attention on the very top of your head.

Feel your scalp and the hair touching it.

Slowly scan downwards focusing your awareness on the space between the eyes,

Your third eye.

Feel your nose,

Then your lips,

Down to your chin.

Wonder with your mind's eye slowly down your neck.

Continue this scan downwards through your body.

Notice anything that feels out of balance acknowledging it and moving along.

Scan your chest.

How does your heart feel right now?

Scan slowly through the stomach,

The abdomen,

The pelvis.

Now leave your attention on your sitting bone rooting you into the earth.

Imagine from this point that you are growing a root.

Send that root downwards into the earth all the way to the center of the planet.

Visualize and feel the energy coming up through the earth through your root all the way through to your spine into your body filling you with this pure white light.

You you you you you you you you you keep this light with you as you inhale deeply to bring your focus back to your body.

Exhale any lingering fears or doubts in the mind.

Let them go.

Inhale give thanks to yourself for taking this time of growth.

Give thanks to the earth for supporting you,

Providing you with life and energy.

Try to keep this feeling of connection to the earth,

Groundedness with you as you go throughout your day today.
