Welcome to your gratitude meditation.
An opportunity to be present in your body and connected to all that you have,
To how blessed your life is now.
And to experience and cultivate that energy of being thankful.
So breathing in gratitude for this breath,
For this moment,
This practice,
This opportunity and space you've created to be present and grateful.
An exhaling sigh of relief for arriving here,
Smiling at the gift that life is.
Breathing in all the way,
Focusing on what you're grateful for in your life right now.
What is going well?
What do you have?
An exhaling,
Softening your body,
Relaxing your muscles,
Letting go of that breath.
Breathing in fully,
Celebrating the gifts that you've been given in your life for all that you have.
An exhaling,
Celebrating the small things,
Taking notice of all that you take for granted.
Breathing in,
Counting those blessings,
Reflecting on all of those small things and how much they add up to in your life.
Breathing in,
Giving thanks for the people who surround you,
Who make your life better,
Who love you,
Who support you.
An exhaling,
Seeing their faces appear in front of you,
Smiling,
Radiating their love,
Encouragement,
Support.
Breathing in,
Receiving their love into your heart.
Just smiling back at them,
Expressing your gratitude in that way.
Breathing in,
Just noticing how many people there are who are supporting you in your life,
Who are helping you to be your best self in all moments.
Even those who challenge you and make life difficult are gifts for you.
So exhaling,
Relaxing,
Softening,
And thanking each of them.
Breathing in,
Imagining as though you're standing in front of a mirror,
And see yourself in that mirror as you exhale and smile back at you.
Breathing in,
Acknowledging yourself for who you are.
Say the things to you that you wish others would acknowledge you for,
For where you'd like to be recognized and appreciated.
Give that gratitude to you in this moment.
Open your heart to receiving that self-appreciation.
Breathing that in and opening yourself,
Expanding that energy of gratitude through all of yourselves.
And exhaling,
Softening into it.
Feeling that energy of gratitude flowing through your body and your mind.
Breathing in,
Bringing to light the challenges that you have in your life.
And giving thanks for each of those,
Exploring how they're supporting you to grow,
How they're supporting you to create the life you desire.
How they're helping you to make the changes you need to make,
And exhaling,
Softening into that gratitude.
Breathing in,
Reflecting on those challenges,
Allowing yourself to be open to learning from them.
Allowing the words,
Thank you,
To be your mantra for life.
For the energy of gratitude removes all resistance,
Dissolves all fear,
And it supports you.
To step into the present moment fully aware that this life is a gift,
That all things are impermanent,
And that no matter how things look,
You are blessed.
Because you are alive,
And life is a gift.
So savor the presence of the moment.
To count your blessings,
And to give thanks for all that you have,
For all those in your life,
And for who you are in this world.
