Forgiveness Meditation.
Go ahead and begin by making yourself comfortable.
Sitting down with a straight spine.
Your chin is tucked slightly.
The back of the neck feels elongated and you feel slight extension.
And go ahead and take a deep breath here.
And slowly and gracefully exhale.
Take another deep inhale.
And when you reach the top of that breath,
Suspend the breath,
Hold all of your air in.
And very slowly exhale.
And allow yourself to sink into the next 10 minutes.
Allow yourself to surrender into the experience of forgiveness.
Ponder upon forgiveness for a moment as you are breathing deeply.
And ask yourself,
What does it mean to me?
What are the ideas and values behind forgiveness?
What are my own perceptions of being forgiving towards others and towards myself?
I reflect and I look back in my past.
And as I do this,
All types of different situations,
Circumstances,
People,
Places,
Jobs,
Hobbies,
Events take place.
And as I look back,
I can see all the areas that are coming up for me to look at.
Everything that is surfacing from my past,
From distant past to recent past.
Whatever is surfacing right now,
I ask to see it fully,
Feel whatever comes up fully,
Whatever might not have been processed in my reactive nature in the past.
And as I sit here today,
I sit in a state of acceptance and in a state of letting go and surrender.
And I ask that whatever feelings need to arise for me to fully feel,
To allow myself to let go,
I invoke that right now,
Right here.
I ask for those feelings,
For those past memories to surface so that I may clear anything that shows up.
Because as these situations clear,
I become more clear.
Go ahead and take a long deep breath,
Nice and slow.
And as slowly as you can,
Exhale that breath completely out,
Drawing the navel in towards the spine when you reach the end of that exhale.
Now inhale again,
Extending the navel out.
And rising up for a full deep yogic breath,
Rising the air through all the different chambers of the lungs up until you feel that full expansion of the lungs and suspend your breath.
Stay here for a moment,
Hold the breath and crystallize your intention to clear the past,
To forgive all that is surfacing.
Wherever there is deep pain,
Honor it,
Say,
I love you,
I got you.
Everything is okay.
I see the lesson.
Or help me to see the lesson.
And go ahead and very slowly exhale,
Control your breath.
And begin again with a nice,
Slow,
Even toned breath.
And go ahead and place one hand on your heart and one hand on your navel point,
Your solar plexus chakra.
We're going to go back into that saying,
I got you.
That inner child that feels hurt,
Alone,
Scared.
Tell that inner child,
Tell that part of yourself,
It's okay.
I love you.
There is nothing to fear.
I've got you.
I've got your back.
No matter what happens,
We'll be okay.
And now bring the hand that is over your navel on top of your heart so both hands are on top of your heart chakra.
And take a deep breath.
And exhale.
And say this powerful affirmation to yourself.
I have unwavering forgiveness and compassion for all that I have experienced,
All that I feel is unjust and unfair that has been done unto me.
I forgive it and I see through it,
Through the lens of compassion.
Being able to see the lesson that was there,
Being able to see why I had to experience what I had to experience.
And because the wisdom that I have gained is so rich,
I am able to say thank you.
Even though it might be hard to say thank you sometimes,
Whenever I feel that pain,
I know by honoring it and saying thank you and letting go of it is the way to truly heal myself.
And as I hold my heart,
I deeply feel that I am supported by an energy that I cannot see.
But I'm learning to know and trust and I'm developing faith.
In the areas where I need to grow.
And I allow myself one final deep breath.
And on this exhale,
I let go just a little more of whatever may be stuck within me.
The things that I am aware of and the things that I am currently unaware of.
And set the intention now to commit to just letting go a little bit more every time you sit down to meditate or listen to this guide.
And allow yourself to be free and create this affirmation for yourself.
I am more free each and every day as I allow myself to accept what is to forgive everything from the past and to surrender into my present moment with courage and with faith.
Teach me,
Universe.
Teach me.
I am the student.
I am the teacher.
And let me forgive.
All that needs to be forgiven.
And to close this meditation.
Please take a deep breath.
And exhale.
And whenever you feel comfortable,
Open your eyes and come out of the meditation very gently.
I hope this has served you and allowing to release a little bit more.
If you need any support or guidance along your path,
Please feel free to reach out.
I'm here for you.
Again,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I am so deeply grateful to be able to be of service and help you along your path.
Namaste and Sat Nam.
Thank you.
