We will be connecting to your breath,
Your heart,
And your worth.
Start by taking a comfortable seat,
Sitting down or even lying down,
Whatever feels good for you.
If you're sitting,
Let your hands rest softly on your lap.
If you're lying down,
Gently over your heart and start to close down your eyes.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and let it exhale through your mouth.
Again,
Deep breath in through the nose and a soft breath out.
One more time,
Inhale fully.
As you exhale,
Letting your whole body relax.
Notice your shoulders,
Let them drop.
Notice your jaw,
Let it loosen.
Notice your belly,
Let it soften like warm sand.
Now place one hand over your heart and feel its gentle beat,
Your own little drum.
This heartbeat is always here for you,
Reminding you that you matter,
That you belong,
That you are safe.
Now we will start to do a few rounds of special breathing to help your body feel calm and strong.
Start by breathing in through your nose,
System settling like a snow globe with the glitter drifting softly to the bottom.
Your breath helps your mind get quiet and your heart to stay open.
Now start by taking a normal breath,
Just nice and easy.
And imagine a warm glowing light in your chest,
Your heart light.
It is kind,
It is strong,
It is yours.
As you breathe out,
Imagine that warm light growing bigger,
Softer,
Brighter,
Filling your whole body with calm.
Now say quietly inside your mind,
I am safe.
And take a breath.
Now say,
I am worthy,
Just as I am.
Feel those words land in your heart like tiny seeds.
Every time you breathe,
Those seeds grow into confidence,
Courage,
And love.
If any worries are in your mind,
Imagine placing them on a little cloud.
Watch the cloud float away,
Getting even brighter,
A soft pink or golden color,
Whatever feels good for you.
This glow reminds you,
You have a beautiful heart.
You have a special,
Unique voice.
You have gifts no one else has.
Take one last deep breath in,
Big and full.
And a long,
Slow breath out.
Gently open your eyes and notice how calm and strong you feel.
Carry this light in your heart for the rest of the day.
And remember,
Your breath is always here.
Your heart is always here.
