Welcome family,

To another beautiful,

Mindful moment,

Facilitated by your favorite,

Brother B.

It is my pleasure to guide you on this journey today,

As I know a lot of times it can be hard to deal with the demands of life.

Our task list,

It's as if it never ends,

And we live in a world where everyone's always on the go,

Go,

Go.

Though,

It's been shared with us by many people throughout the years,

That meditation can actually bring us closer to what it is we truly desire.

And so I thank you for taking this opportunity to slow down,

And begin again.

I invite you to get yourself settled into a nice,

Comfortable,

Seated,

Upright position,

And use the power of the breath to ground the body in the here and now.

Breathing in deep through the nose,

And breathing out through the mouth.

Breathing in deep,

And breathing out.

For a few moments,

I invite you to practice keeping your attention on the breath,

And notice how your body becomes even more soft and relaxed.

If your mind has wandered,

It's alright.

Notice that your mind has drifted away from your center,

And let's simply reel it back.

Don't worry,

We're not going to sit here forever.

And breathing out.

I'd like to now ask you to bring into your awareness,

What's on your to-do list?

What projects are you working on?

What are some of the things,

Top of mind,

That you need to tend to?

Breathe in deep,

As you sit with all the things that you feel you need to do,

And just notice.

Next,

I want you to ask yourself,

With all of the things that you need to do,

That are important to you,

Why is it so important for you?

Why is it so important for you to show up to your projects and your goals?

This is your driving force.

It already exists within you.

The truth is,

Without this driving force,

There's no getting anything done.

So why not take this moment to give thanks to yourself,

For prioritizing this practice of meditation,

And connecting with your driving force.

See if you can feel a little bit deeper,

Of how grateful you are for this practice of stillness.

Allowing this energy to build up within you.
