Take a comfortable seat,
Let your spine grow tall,
Your shoulders soften and allow your body to arrive exactly where you are.
Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.
Feel the warmth of your own palms holding you.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and a long breath out through the mouth.
Bring your awareness into your belly and notice how it gently expands with every inhalation and how it contracts with every exhalation.
Inhale,
Belly expands.
Let the chest stay quiet.
On the count of four and exhale on the count of six.
So you're going to inhale.
Rise into your palms as you breathe in.
Feel it gently fall as you breathe out.
Let this rhythm settle your nervous system.
Now gently allow the breath to even out.
We stay here for a few more rounds,
Breathing evenly,
Letting the breath become smooth,
Natural.
So smooth it doesn't feel taken but receive it as a gift from nature.
Slowly release your hands from your belly and heart and bring them together in front of your chest as if you were holding a small bowl or cup between your palms.
Keep the same four four breath inhaling the count of four,
Exhaling the count of four.
Feel your breath flowing into this cup,
Filling your cup with your own light.
Stay with this gentle breathing,
Letting your inner cup fill.
Now take a deep breath in and exhale long and slow.
And then you are going to whisper into your cup after me the following affirmations.

Drinking them in,
Letting them soak into your heart and your entire being.
Feel the support you give yourself.
Allow the positive flow of energy to settle through your body.
Take a final nourishing breath.
Place your hands on your heart and gently continue with your day.
