Settle in and get comfortable in a seated position or lying flat on your back on the floor if that feels good and let your eyes gently fall closed.
Now bring your attention to your space.
Notice what's below you.
While keeping your eyes closed and using your other senses,
Notice what's to your right to your left.
What's above you in your space.
Feel the temperature of the room on your skin.
Notice if there are any noises.
We're just tuning into our space now without any attachment.
Just noticing and coming fully into the here and now.
And then let your attention naturally come to your breath.
Notice how easily you are breathing already.
How little effort it takes for you to bring fresh oxygen into your body.
Notice your breath filling up your belly,
Climbing into your lungs and imagine that breath carrying rejuvenating energy to every cell in your body.
Take a moment to thank your body for the subconscious act of breathing that she does for you all day every day.
And maybe you want to expand on that and give your body even more love right now.
Thank you for carrying me every day,
For helping me to hug my loved ones,
For beating my heart during a tough workout,
For taking in all the nutrients I need from my diet.
And as you breathe into this gratitude for your body,
Notice a ball of energy in your heart center,
In your chest.
This energy is pure gratitude.
It might be small right now or large,
Bright or dim.
Trust that whatever is showing up for you right now is exactly what you need today.
And notice what color the energy is.
Let that be your healing color for today,
For this meditation.
And as you focus on that energy ball of gratitude,
Watch it start to grow and expand with every breath.
It's almost like a balloon that you are inflating.
With each breath in,
The energy ball grows and grows.
When it is so big,
You don't think it can expand any further.
Your next breath makes it pop and that colorful energy of gratitude can now spread all throughout your body.
Feel it flow like it's carried by a gentle spring breeze up,
Up,
Up to the crown of your head.
And then down through your shoulders,
Down through your arms and pouring into each finger.
On your next breath in,
That pure energy starts to flow down through your organs,
Healing your gut microbiome.
And now it melts over your hips,
Relaxing all the muscles and joints in your legs and down through each and every toe.
Your body is now fully encased in this protective,
Warm,
Loving energy of gratitude.
Take a moment to soak in this pure,
Beautiful gratitude and repeat this mantra to yourself.
The energy of gratitude fills me and surrounds me.

As you bask in this beautiful glow,
Remember that your body is always working for you.
She's always on your side.
Our natural state is one of health.
Our bodies want to be functional,
Fit,
Happy and to easily maintain a healthy physique as our baseline.
Take a moment now and ask your body if there's anything she needs from you to get to your ideal state of being.
Be patient.

Sometimes we will only notice a very brief sensation.
You might notice flashes of color,
Emotions or images.
Maybe you see or hear words.
Maybe you just feel a deep intuitive knowing.
Notice if you feel,
See,
Hear or sense anything in any part of your body as you ask again,
Is there anything your body needs from you to get to your ideal state of being?
If you don't notice any response right now,
That's okay too.
This is an ongoing practice of rebuilding the connection between your doing mind and really being in your body and it can take time.
If you did receive guidance from your body,
Say thank you and send out more love and gratitude out to every extremity.
And if it feels good,
You can place a hand on your heart and just feel that love for your body flow.
Tell her the message has been received.
Now take another deep breath in and solidify this feeling of connection,
Of teamwork,
Of trust,
Of deep inner peace in this beautiful body,
This magical earth vessel that you get to live in in this lifetime.
And know that this is a peaceful place you can return to at any moment.
This connection and wisdom from your body is always there for you to access.
It's not outside of you,
It's within you.
