Welcome to this meditation intended to help you to reconnect to a deep sense of peace and tranquility.
Make yourself as comfortable as you can be in a quiet space where you will be alone for a while and enjoy.
As you begin to settle down,
Make sure that you are really comfortable.
You can move during the session if you need to,
But it is best not to move at all,
Leaving your body to rest while you go on a journey to the temple of peace and tranquility.
You can begin by allowing your eyelids to gently go into a state of rest.
You do this while you begin to turn your focus to other things,
Allowing your breathing to continue.
You can trust that as you now leave your body behind on this journey,
It will be safe.
Visualize or imagine someone you trust standing guard over your body,
Or surround yourself with a blanket of light.
See yourself grounded to Mother Earth so that your body may be safe in the here and now.
Turn your attention to your breathing and use it to push out the day's stress and tension as you take a few deep breaths.
Now allow the natural rhythm of your breathing to return and take over.
Focusing on your heart now,
Tune into the pace of your heartbeat.
It is steady,
Rhythmic,
Strong,
And like your breathing,
It will continue.
And you know that for the rest of this session and while you go on your journey,
Your heart will go on beating.
As you allow your lungs to expand and contract at its own pace,
Release everything that is not needed on your journey within today.
It is time to leave the outside world behind.
In whatever way feels right,
Find a way to move your awareness into a vessel that will allow you to travel to the edge of the universe or anywhere else you need to be.
Let your mind bring you the image of your perfect vessel.
As your awareness fits into a large soap bubble,
Maybe a magic carpet is more to your liking.
Just imagine your perfect vessel for travel to faraway places and transfer your awareness,
Your consciousness and let it settle into that vessel.
Get ready to move to where you want to be today.
For now,
Your vessel is hovering just above your body.
From there,
Look at your body.
It is breathing.
Can you see the pulse of your heartbeat visible in your temples?
Or at the bottom of your throat?
There,
So alive,
So vital.
So just let your body rest now.
Are you still settling into your vessel or are you letting this be easy?
Perhaps add something soft and become aware that all of who you are is now becoming really comfortable,
Ready for the journey ahead.
Feel the gentle rocking of your vessel as it begins to float away,
As if it has been pre-programmed and somehow you know that the destination is the temple of peace and tranquility.
You are heading home.
And as your vessel begins to find its way there,
You may pass magnificent scenery or fly over the great plains.
Perhaps you get to watch a breathtaking sunset or float amongst the stars in the pre-dawn.
What does your journey look like as you travel far beyond the borders of your mind?
Are you appreciative of your ability to perceive such wonders?
But now,
Your vessel is slowing down,
Easily floating towards a portal of light.
What color is the light of your portal?
Do you feel the excitement of anticipation coursing through your veins as you wonder what awaits you on the other side?
Allow the vessel carrying your awareness to slowly move into the portal and follow the light to the other side,
Where you will find your destination,
The magnificent temple of peace and tranquility.
Such beauty.
As you now leave your vessel behind,
Where it will wait for your return,
Turn towards the ten steps that will take you up into the temple.
And as I count,
Take one step for each count,
Moving up to where you will pass through the huge double doors that are standing wide open.
Two.
Three.
Knowing that your soul has been here before,
Many times over.
Four.
It is with great joy that you recognize the welcoming love that emanates from its very foundations.
Five.
Six.
This temple was built for you.
Seven.
Eight.
You have been guided here.
Nine and ten.
As you walk into the first sanctuary,
You find an altar.
How is it that you instantly know that it is there for you to lay down all the things you have to let go of?
Those things that are holding you back,
Hindering and harming you.
So take this opportunity to lay down everything that you want to let go of.
People.
Things.
Circumstances.
And parts of you that are no longer serving you.
Let it all go.
Look across the sanctuary,
Where you will see the double doors of the next one.
And move towards them.
Pushing them open.
Knowing that what is to come will help you to heal your life.
Walking into this next sanctuary,
You find depicted all that is present in your life now.
Feelings.
People.
Journeys.
Aspects of who you are.
Challenges.
And even those things that bring you much joy.
As you look at what has manifested in your life,
You are presented with the opportunity to embrace it as part of the perfect life experience your soul requires.
And when you choose to do so,
Embrace what is with gratitude.
And so unlock all the potential that your life holds.
Once more move forward to the next set of double doors.
And through those doors you now enter the place where every soul must kneel alone.
Take this opportunity to kneel down in that most sacred of spaces.
And as you do what you feel is right for you there,
Accept that all things come to you under grace so that you may be forever free.
There is another set of double doors for you to pass through.
And as you step into the next sanctuary,
You are presented with a book of light.
Open it now and turn the pages until you find the words you know you came here to read.
Live passionately and so let your purpose find you.
Believe in miracles so that your passion may reveal itself to you.
Repeat these sacred phrases in your mind,
Forever etching them there for you to find.

You are now ready to enter the innermost sacred sanctuary.
And as you move through the last of the double doors,
Enter into a place of peace and tranquility that reflects the beauty of your eternal soul.
The place where it lives.
As I stay silent,
Spend a little time just experiencing the peace only your soul is capable of.
So that you may anchor it today in your human heart.
Forever connected to a tranquility so deep that it will keep you safe for all time and beyond.
Gently return your awareness to my voice and allow it to lead you back to the here and now.
As you begin to leave the temple of peace and tranquility,
Find your way back to the waiting vessel of your awareness and prepare to return.
Know that the peace and tranquility you've found within on this journey today,
Now take root in your subconscious mind from where it connects to all aspects of your life.
And in the days to come,
You might be delighted to discover a greater sense of peace.
And perhaps even an enhanced ability to increasingly make the choices of a person who lives passionately.
Finding purpose floating into your world.
Or will it simply be that you will begin to believe in miracles as your passion kindles.
Now prepare to return to the here and now.
Letting your vessel return at a pace that is comfortable for you.
Returning your awareness to your waiting body.
Sense what you notice about the space around you as you settle back into your body.
Gently pulling back all parts of your energy and consciousness.
I'm going to count from 10 to 1 as you complete your return.
Grounding yourself back into the present.
And on the count of 1,
Open your eyes.
Feeling wide awake and alert.
Totally relaxed and at ease.
