Welcome to your guided meditation to release anxiety.
Go ahead and lay down or sit up,
Find a comfortable position and you can close your eyes if that feels good or lower your gaze.
And we're going to start by taking three deep breaths,
Inhaling,
Exhaling,
Inhaling,
Exhaling.
One more time inhale and exhale.
And take a moment to tune in to the anxiety that you are feeling.
Imagine it as a sticky paint all on your body or maybe it's not on your whole body,
Maybe it's just in a specific area.
But go ahead and tune into the feeling and give it a color.
And now imagine that you step into a cleansing waterfall and the water from above you from your head starts to wash away the anxiety.
Notice how the water is coming down starting at the top of your head,
Washing away the anxiety from your face,
Your neck and shoulders,
Your chest,
Your back,
Stomach and hips,
Your arms and hands and fingers,
Your thighs,
Legs and feet.
Notice how the rain,
The water keeps washing away all of the anxiety.
Looking down at your feet you see the paint,
The color,
The anxiety washing away.
Know that you can come back to this cleansing water anytime you need to wash away the anxiety.
Check in with yourself now and see how you feel.
Enjoy the water and allow it to wash away any lingering feelings of anxiety.
Once you feel complete,
You step out and immediately you are dry.
Warm and feeling so much lighter.
