This is Suzanne and I have a meditation I want to share with you here that just takes a few minutes and I don't know about you but sometimes just a few minutes is all I need right to rein in that scattered energy when I'm feeling a little bit just overburdened,
Overscheduled,
Overstimulated or whatever and sometimes just something really simple can really do the trick.
So I want to share with you a meditation again that's very brief and this is used as a mantra and the mantra is very simple and it's in English so easy to remember and what I love about this too is oftentimes I'll sit and do this for a few moments but the cool thing is you can even do this mantra like while you're cooking dinner right while you're in the car just driving and you could just be saying these words to yourself and let the breath just carry the words along and enter you know inside and just infuse you with a feeling of calm and anchoredness and settledness so that you're able to resume what you're doing you know with a little more ease in your day.
Alright so this mantra I said it was simple here we are it is I am here now in this I am here now in this and so we'll take a couple of minutes and repeat this and the way we'll do it is on your inhale you say the word to yourself I as you exhale am inhale here exhale now inhale in exhale this and so we'll do this a couple of times I'll do a couple of them with you out loud and then you'll kind of ride the breath on your own and just say this mantra to yourself we'll do several times just a couple of minutes so go ahead and take a good seat wherever you are or you can even be standing you know if you're in the middle of something and you just need a moment but wherever you are feel your feel grounded so your feet grounded on the floor for your pelvis grounded in your chair or maybe you're even lying in your bed or you can kind of recline back on the floor for a moment and if it's comfortable for you close your eyes all right so let's take a few breaths together first take a deep breath in here and then exhale out of your mouth all right we'll do that two more times take a deep breath in exhale out of your mouth and we'll do this one more time take a deep breath in you've got this exhale out of your mouth here we go inhale I exhale am inhale here exhale now inhale in exhale this inhale I exhale am inhale here exhale now inhale in exhale this repeat on your own for another moment or so all right that was five minutes of meditation together you did it all right so you're welcome to continue this mantra take it with you out into the rest of your day or into your night let it just fill you with a little bit of ease and maybe some vitality so that you're ready to keep on keep on living your your beautiful life all right friends have a wonderful rest of your day namaste
