As you begin to drift into slumber,

A dream begins to unfold.

In this dream you are dreaming still,

Asleep within sleep,

Wrapped in the most serene and tender rest you've ever known.

And as you rest,

Something stirs,

A soft warmth brushes your cheek,

And your dream gently lifts you to wakefulness,

Not to the world you left behind,

But into something more magical.

Your eyes open slowly,

And all around you is bathed in the most exquisite shade of purple,

Not just a colour,

But a feeling,

Velvety,

Soft,

Soothing,

Like dusk's first sigh.

And as your gaze widens,

You realize you are nestled in the very heart of a flower.

The magnificent blooms are vibrant,

Violet-cut,

And dew-kissed.

Cradling as if you were its most cherished secret,

Above you soft rays of golden sunlight begin to spill through the gently-veined petals,

Painting your world in glimmers of lilac and amber.

You don't know where you are,

But none of that matters,

Because you feel calm,

So deep,

So pure,

You are sure you've never felt peace like this before.

And then,

Ever so slowly,

A petal begins to stretch and unfold,

Each one sighing open in a lazy,

Luxurious stretch,

Welcoming in the light of a brand new dawn.

With every unfolding petal,

The light grows warmer,

The colour deepens,

Until you are bathed in the soft gold of early morning sun.

You rise effortlessly from the centre of the blossom,

And peer over the edge to see the world awakening.

The fields below are dressed in mist,

A delicate silver veil rolling over velvet green hills,

And everything sparkles.

Each blade of grass,

Each dewdrop,

A thousand tiny stars winking in the daylight,

Birdsong begins to stir in the air,

Gentle,

Full of promise.

And you inhale deeply,

A fresh,

Full breath of spring air,

Cool and fragrant,

With wild flowers and earth.

Your lungs expand with a slow,

Unsatisfying stretch,

And with that breath,

You feel your entire being soften.

Around you,

The meadow sways in a dance of colour,

Scarlet poppies,

Golden buttercups,

Ivory daisies,

A sea of petals painting the earth in joy,

Blossom-laden trees crowned the rolling hills,

Their branches heavy with blossom,

Soft petals floating down like confetti from the sky.

Then,

With the gentlest of movements,

The petal beneath your feet detaches,

A graceful sigh,

And you begin to float upwards,

So softly,

So safely,

Lifted higher and higher.

You drift on a breeze,

Carried like a whisper across the morning sky.

The world below becomes small,

Distant,

A dream within a dream.

Ahead of you,

A vast,

Brilliant cloud,

Pure white and radiant,

Fluffed like whipped cream under the warming sky.

As you approach,

The light becomes so bright,

You must close your eyes,

And in doing so,

You relax even deeper.

Floating there,

Cradled by air and light,

Your thoughts dissolve into stillness,

Your body weightless.

And as you drift,

You dream once more.

Through your closed eyelids,

You sense a glow,

Soft and white,

Like moonlight on new snow.

Your skin feels cool,

Your breath slow and even,

And when your eyes flutter open again,

You are standing in a world of freshly fallen snow,

Glistening,

Untouched,

A blanket of soft,

White,

Quiet.

The world is still,

So silent you can hear your heartbeat echo.

With each step,

Your foot sinks gently into the powdery snow,

A soft crunch,

Like walking through a memory.

There's no rush here,

Just peace,

Pure and endless.

You wander for a while,

Just you and the snow,

The hush of winter,

Wrapping around you like a soft shawl.

As evening approaches,

The sun begins to descent,

Painting the sky in warm strokes of amber and rose.

Streetlights blink on one by one,

Golden halos in the settling dusk.

You pause and turn back,

Smiling at the lazy trail of footprints you left behind,

A soft path through time.

Then,

With a playful spirit,

You lie down in the snow,

Arms and legs swaying gently,

Carving the wings of a snow angel.

You laugh softly to yourself,

And as you lay still,

The sky glows orange behind your eyelids,

A warm,

Flickering light that rocks you into sleep once more.

And in that sleep,

You dream again.

This time,

The orange glow lingers,

Warmer,

Deeper,

Like firelight in your soul.

Your body feels sunlit,

Your spirit golden.

You open your eyes and find yourself laying on the soft,

Warm sand of a hidden cove.

The ocean shimmers before you,

Waves gently whispering to the shore.

In rhythm with your heartbeat,

You dip your hand into the soft sand,

Scooping it slowly,

Watching it slip through your fingers.

Like a silken hourglass,

Grain by golden grain.

So calm,

So present,

So still.

The sun above wraps you in warmth,

The perfect temperature,

A golden balm that kisses your skin,

Cradles your thoughts,

And smooths every edge within you.

You sit and watch the sea for a long,

Quiet while,

Not needing anything,

Just letting yourself be held by the rhythm of the waves,

The hush of the wind.

And the sacred stillness of rest.

You are whole,

You are calm,

You are home.

Drift into sleep,

Held by the seasons,

Carried by dreams,

Wrapped in the warmth and wonder of nature's endless embrace.

And as you do,

And as the stars above begin to fade,

As the soft hush of the world still cradles you,

Your dream begins to shift once more.

The sky once vast and velvet within night,

Slowly begins to pale,

And you find yourself weightless again,

Drifting ever so gently,

Not rising now but descending.

As though the dream itself is tenderly returning you,

Slowly and lovingly,

To the very centre of you.

The air is gentle around you,

A cool,

Silken breath that brushes past your skin like a memory.

And you begin to feel the presence of the Earth calling you home,

Not hurriedly,

Not urgently,

But with the patience of something eternal.

Something that knows you completely and welcomes you unconditionally.

Below you,

Through the soft mist of dawn,

You glimpse once more the shimmer of violet,

Your beloved purple glow.

And it is like returning to a forgotten song.

One that lives not in words,

But in the quiet language of the soul.

The flower,

The same radiant,

Vibrant bloom in which your journey began.

Waiting for you with open petals,

As though it never closed.

As though it held your place while you drifted through each season,

Gathering light and colour and rest.

And you descend into it like a sigh,

Like a falling leaf curling into the palm of the wind.

And you are received with such softness,

Such grace,

That you cannot help but smile,

Even in sleep,

Even in a dream.

The petals fold around you now,

Not to trap or to close,

To shelter,

To wrap you in the deep velvet of love itself.

This is your place,

This is your sanctuary.

Not somewhere far away,

Not a distant dream,

Not a fleeting escape,

But a sacred space that lives inside you,

Always.

It has always been here,

Even in your busiest days,

Your noisiest moments,

Your loneliest nights.

This soft garden within you never withers,

Never fades.

You are home now,

Not just to a place,

But to yourself.

And in this quiet return,

You begin to feel something stirring,

Not a thought,

But a knowing.

A knowing that you are precious,

That you are rare and radiant and deeply loved.

You are not small,

You are not separate,

You are not something broken that needs fixing.

You are the whole sky,

The open sea,

The mountain and the bloom,

The quiet snowfall and the rising sun.

You are the dreamer and the dream,

The witness and the wonder,

The soul behind the seasons.

Feel it now,

The quiet,

Steady pulse of your own being,

Like the petals unfolding,

Like the tide returning to shore.

This is the rhythm of you.

Each breath you take is a gift.

Every breath you release is an offering.

You do not have to strive,

You do not have to prove.

You are already enough,

Just as you are,

Just as you've always been.

Let the softness of this moment settle over you like moonlight.

Let the warmth of your own presence hold you like a blanket.

You are wrapped in gentleness,

In safety,

In the deep abiding truth that you are loved.

Not because of what you do,

Not because of what you give,

But simply because you exist.

You are the kind of beautiful that doesn't need to be seen to be real.

You are the kind of strong that bends gently and never breaks.

You have walked through seasons,

Floated through skies,

Rested in wildflower meadows and danced with snow.

You have known light and stillness and the hush of the ocean's breath.

And all of it,

Every moment,

Was leading you here,

Back to the heart of who you are.

Back to the soft,

Glowing center of your being.

Back to the flower that has always known your name.

And now there is nothing more to do,

Nothing more to change.

Only this,

To rest,

To be,

To love yourself quietly and completely.

So let the world fade now,

Like mist beneath the morning sun.

Let every muscle in your body soften,

Every thought loosen its grip,

Every breath lull you deeper.

Into this cocoon of peace.

The petals hold you.

Your breath holds you.

The earth holds you.

And you hold yourself.

You are safe.

You are enough.
