Sometimes when we aim to sleep,

Sleep,

Our minds turn on to all sorts of thoughts,

All sorts of distractions.

It's almost as though we go to bed to think about how the day went,

How the world outside of ourselves looked.

Maybe in your day you noticed the clouds,

How they formed so perfectly for the weather above,

How they were at times wispy.

These clouds are called cirrus.

Sometimes they can look like gentle wisps of feathers just floating in the sky,

Showing us their beauty.

Maybe those wisps of clouds become fuller and more billowing like cumulus clouds,

Such a soft flowing cloud.

And if I were ever to sleep in a cloud,

It would be one of these.

You'd sink into it like cotton wool,

Or like a soft and cosy duvet covered in the softest of pillows,

Where you can sink down into complete rest.

Can you imagine how comfortable your body would feel?

How safe you'd be,

Wrapped up and protected.

You'd float in the sky,

Not a thought in mind,

Dreaming of rest,

Dreaming of you,

And your recuperation and healing.

Maybe the sun is beginning to set.

Maybe the world where you are is starting to rest.

And as the sun goes,

A haze of colour appears.

Perhaps the blue sky turns to a shade of apricot.

The clouds light up and look like they're laced in gold.

As the sun sinks further down,

Whirls of heather,

Iris and magenta emerge,

The colours so vibrant that they encapsulate the clouds and turn them into lavender flavoured candy floss.

As the display continues,

A blush of rose paints its way into the sky,

Curling and entrapping its way through dreams of colours.

And as you become enveloped into this freedom,

Time and space,

Your mind wanders into the place it needs to be.

Where the blossom petals fall.

Where the sun is perfect for you.

Where the grass is green.

Where love is yours.

A place where the streams run clear.

Where trees are tall,

Where peace is yours.

Your place within,

Full of harmony and self-recognition that you are enough.

And you are worthy.

Inside you is your key.

And when you turn your key,

You can let go.

You can let go and drift and float.

And float and drift.

Resting.

Reposing.

Seeking within you what you need.

Let go.

Let go.

And as you enter this world of letting go,

Your mind encapsulates your body,

Reminding you of your worth of rest.

Tenderly rocking you into slumber.

And as your body happily and easily lets go,

You see so clearly how easy it is to love each part of you.

The days may be challenging,

But you are always worthy.

And as you remember your worth,

Allow the feelings of self-love so that you can feel it.

This feeling of such comfort is welcomed.

You can allow it.

It's yours.

Allow this stability of self-love to flow.

To wrap you up in its arms and love you forever.

Love you forever.

Beautifully calming and peaceful, although very distracted by the background audio. Couldn’t make it out so enquisitive brain wasn’t switching off.

I'm not sure I heard the things you were saying - your voice is calming enough! 🥰

I had to stay awake and listen to it the first time because I love your meditations and everything you say so I wanted to know. I’m glad I did because it’s as beautiful and as caringly written as always. So now I’m going to re-listen and go to sleep night night.
