
Letting Go Of 2020 To Plan For 2021

This practice is designed to support us to let go of the past, so that we may set our intentions for the future. Ideal for anyone who needs to let go and release 2020, and re-focus on the present moment so that we may bring in 2021 and set our intentions clearly.
Transcript
Take a deep breath in and then let it go with an audible sigh out through your mouth.
If you have not already done so,
Go ahead and close down your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and then let it go with an audible sigh.
Continue that breath a couple more times,
Drawing in through your nose,
Breathing in deeply,
Perhaps holding at the top of the inhale for just a moment,
And let it go out through the mouth with an audible sigh,
Letting it all go,
Drawing another breath in when you are ready.
Hold at the top for as long as is comfortable,
And then let it go with an audible sigh out through your mouth.
Now allow your breath to find its own rhythm.
Take some time here to focus on your breath,
Noticing the rise and fall of your chest,
Sensing the different temperature of the air as you breathe it in and as you let it go on the exhale.
As you breathe out,
Relax your shoulders.
Allow them to soften.
Make sure your neck is relaxed and comfortable.
And soften your jaw,
Relaxing all of the muscles that hold your jaw in place.
Allow your eyes to rest gently in their sockets.
And your brow relaxes and softens.
Take another deep breath here,
And when you exhale,
Let it go with an audible sigh,
Releasing any tension from anywhere else in your body.
And then allow your breath to find a comfortable rhythm once again.
This practice is about letting go,
Noticing if you are hanging onto any heaviness,
Disappointment,
Anything that feels unresolved,
Incomplete,
Anything that you are dissatisfied with,
Perhaps something didn't go to plan.
And I want you to scoop anything and everything that you find.
Imagine you are scooping it into a laundry hamper,
A basket or fabric,
Whatever your imagination conjures up.
You are scooping and placing all of that heaviness into your basket,
Into your hamper.
Making a mental note as you do so,
That you are collecting and placing into your basket,
Into your hamper,
The heaviness that goes along with whatever you are scooping up.
One by one,
Placing each of these things into your basket or hamper.
Be sure to take your time.
Collect everything that feels unresolved,
Frustrating,
Disappointing,
Incomplete,
Anything that is holding you back from planning your next steps,
From looking to the future,
From being excited and optimistic about what is yet to come.
I'm going to give you some time here to collect as much as you can,
Placing it into your basket or hamper,
Ensuring that as you do so,
The heaviness is placed along with it.
Once you have collected as much as you can,
Please take a moment to notice what needs to happen with your collection,
Whatever is in your basket or your hamper.
What needs to take place now?
Does this collection simply need to be washed?
Perhaps burnt,
Disintegrating,
Perhaps you simply visualise them turning into energy and dissipating.
This will be unique for you.
Please allow whatever you are being guided towards to take place,
Perhaps one of the suggestions or perhaps something entirely different.
Please know that you are being guided to the exact and perfect practice,
Experience or visualisation for you in this moment.
Once again I'm going to give you some time here to allow it to unfold.
Please take your time,
Ensuring that the process comes full circle to completion,
Whatever that looks like for you.
Taking a moment.
Checking in to ensure the process is complete.
And when you feel that this process is complete for you,
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Fill your lungs,
Your belly and hold at the top of your inhale,
Hold your breath,
Hold for as long as is comfortable and when you can no longer hold,
Let it go.
Out through the mouth with a nice big audible sigh,
Symbolising the completion of this process.
You have let it go.
The process is now complete.
Please bring to mind now some exciting ideas and possibility for the next phase of your business.
Perhaps it's the next week,
The next month,
The next quarter,
The next six months,
Perhaps the year ahead,
Bring to mind some possibilities,
Ideas,
Dreams,
Desires.
Perhaps there's one in particular that comes to mind,
Perhaps there's several.
Let your mind go there.
Let your heart follow.
And notice how it feels.
Is it exciting?
Expansive?
Incredible?
Abundant?
What does it feel like for you?
Notice that feeling state.
Follow that feeling and allow yourself to cultivate that feeling.
If it feels right for you,
You may like to place your hand over your heart as you focus on cultivating this feeling.
Can you go deeper?
Can you expand that feeling?
Can you feel it within yourself?
Can you breathe it in?
Let it permeate your surroundings.
When we let go,
We create space,
Allowing the new to come to us.
If your hand is over your heart,
Gently lower it back to your lap or anywhere that feels comfortable for you today.
Take another deep breath in,
Draw the breath in through your nose,
Fill your lungs,
Holding at the top and then let that breath go out through the mouth with a sigh.
Repeating that breath once again,
Drawing in through your nose,
Fill your belly,
Hold at the top.
Breathing go with an audible sigh out through the mouth.
One more,
Breathing in when you are ready.
Drawing that breath in and then holding at the top.
And when you are ready,
Let that breath go with an audible sigh out through your mouth.
And let your breath return to its own rhythm,
Natural and comfortable,
As you bring some gentle movement back into your body.
And blink open your eyes.
You may like to take pen to paper,
To jot down some of those ideas,
The inspiration,
Goals,
Plans,
Things that you would like to do,
To achieve,
To pursue.
Or you might like to allow some time in your calendar in the next little while to start to map out some of your next steps.
And as you do,
Please remember the feeling state that you generated in this practice and have the most amazing time creating the next phase in your business.
