Birds are described as 'God's Messenger', and robins are known to symbolise protection and reassurance during times of great change. The message of this song is therefore that you are not alone; that strength, support, connection, and hope is with you. I think this is a very pretty rendition. The versions played on the campfire sessions are so different comparatively. They seem more real, more raw.
