Welcome to your guided meditation on stress relief.
I'd like you to take a seat in a chair or lie down on the floor and take a nice deep breath in through the nose,
Filling the belly and the chest with air and out through the mouth.
As you breathe,
Feel the oxygen filling your lungs,
Expanding your life source.
And as you exhale,
Allow all the tension and stress to release.
Let it go.
Breathe in purpose.
Exhale all that does not serve you.
We live in a world where stress has become a human condition,
But it need not be that way for you have everything within you to live the life and feel the emotion you desire.
Stress comes from external forces.
But your power,
Your life force,
Your greatest gift lies within.
Breathe.
Allow that stress intention to slip away.
Relax your face muscles.
Relax your shoulders and neck and sink deeper into a state of bliss,
Of calm,
Of love.
Breathe.
I want you to imagine yourself on a beautiful beach with white sand,
Tropical trees.
No one else is around.
There's a slight breeze that cools your body from the warm sun.
You can smell the salt in the air.
The ocean water is calm and a crystal clear blue.
With every ripple in the ocean,
You feel your body wash over and more of that stress is released.
You are relaxed.
You are joyful.
You are at peace.
You hear the exotic birds in the background.
Bringing you a ballad of love and positive energy.
All of that stress that starts to wash away.
Allow it to exit out of your body right in front of you into a little black ball.
Breathe.
As you feel the wind,
Hear the birds take in all of the warmth from the sun.
Smell the air.
Feel the sand beneath your toes and your fingers and watch the ripples across the clear water.
You continue to release that stress and let that black ball grow as big as it needs to.
Breathe.
With a smile on your face,
You're going to stand up on that beach.
You're going to pick up that ball,
That ball of stress and negativity.
You realize it's light as a feather.
It was only your mind that allowed it to have so much weight before it was created.
It was imaginary.
It was never a real thing.
Simply wasted energy and empty space.
I want you to take that ball to the edge of the water.
As the waves gently crash and rise towards your toes,
Feel the warmth of the water that has been heated by the sun.
Release that black ball of energy and stress right in the water and notice that it floats.
Step back away from the ball and watch as it drifts out to sea.
Further,
Further and further away.
As the distance increases,
The further away it gets,
The more sense of calm and peace washes over you.
Watch that ball as it drifts off into the horizon further and further away until it's no longer in sight and you feel nothing but love and peace.
Step back towards the sand and take a seat and enjoy your time here as long as you'd like without any stressors,
Any distractions,
Just you and the universe aligned as one.
And whenever you're ready,
Bring your awareness back to your body.
Wiggle your toes and your fingers.
Stretch your arms and legs.
Gently blink your eyes and take a nice deep breath and step into life.
