When it comes to love,

It's not always about how you feel about someone.

What it's really about is how that person makes you feel about yourself.

Surrounding yourself with good people can affect every aspect of your life.

The people you surround yourself with either raise or lower your standards.

Who you spend the most time with is who you eventually become.

Take a moment for your eyes to gently close.

As you find the natural rhythm of your breath,

Noticing for a brief moment what your natural rhythm feels like.

Feeling whether your breath is quick and shallow,

Or if it has already deepened,

Welcoming any subtle adjustments.

And on your next inhale,

Take a big deep breath in,

Deeper than any breath you've taken so far today.

Feeling a physical release as you exhale,

Your heart rate is steady and calm now,

Settled.

And as your breath once again finds its natural rhythm,

I want you to take a moment to think about one person.

Someone who makes you feel like the best version of yourself.

And as you bring someone to the front of your mind,

Someone who has impacted you in such a powerful way,

Powerful enough that their name rose to the top of your mind when it was suggested.

I want you to think about how you feel after spending time with them.

Do you feel good about yourself and ready to take on new challenges?

Do you ever feel upset or unsure of yourself and not in control of your emotions?

Our emotions exist to tell us things.

They are a gift that lets us know that we need to change in order to feel like we're on the right path again.

If you feel drained or fearful or agitated after spending time with someone,

It is an indication from within that they are not good for you.

We all experience negative relationships,

But you probably already have some positive people in your life too.

Surrounding yourself with people who are smarter than you will push you to always keep learning and to stay curious about your own life.

Someone who works hard for what they want inspires everyone around them to do more.

And it shows others that true greatness is within reach.

A true visionary or someone with big dreams always encourages you to chase after your own,

Whatever they may be,

And someone who sees obstacles as opportunities to learn and grow from.

This is someone who will be there to help you pick up the pieces when you need it the most.

Once again,

Bring someone to the front of your mind,

Whether it's the same person as before or someone new.

What is it about this person that inspires you the most?

What characteristics do they have that you find magnetizing to be around?

Take a few quiet moments to yourself now to reflect on what it is about this person that inspires you the most.

Who are they having you become?

Feel into the physical reaction your body is having to these emotions and memories as they emerge.

Being in even a brief state of admiration and gratitude towards someone encourages the appreciation of others in your life.

It strengthens the relationship and connections you might otherwise overlook.

And it gives you a shift in your reality when you look around you.

See not only how someone is impacting who you are in your life,

But also how you may be impacting theirs.

Would your name and face be one of the first to come to someone else's mind if they were doing this same practice?

Keep being around people who are good for you.

Continue to surround yourself with people who show you that there is more.

I'm so glad you exist.

Thank you for being here with me.

This is such a powerful message and reminder. This really brought about introspective and deep contemplation about how I feel with the people I spend my time with. I will do some journaling and reflection on my personal romantic relationship as a result. As I feel my love 😍 and I have shifted to a place lately, that if we were asked how we feel around the other lately, and answered honestly, we’d express some tension and lower vibration. Thank you for thist beautiful meditation to bring about awareness and insight into our lives 💞⭐️💞.

This was an excellent meditation to begin my day. What a simple yet brilliant reminder to surround yourself with those who elevate and inspire you rather than those who lower your feelings of self worth.
