Relaxation Meditation.
Let's begin by lying down on our backs.
This is called relaxation in yoga.
Let your feet fall apart and close your eyes.
Your arms are out to your side.
Now let's take our attention to the feet.
Be aware of the feet.
Silently say,
My feet are very relaxed.
Next,
Be aware of the knees and legs.
Silently say,
My knees are very relaxed.
My legs,
Knees,
And feet are relaxed.
Be aware of the hips.
Silently say,
My hips are very relaxed.
Be aware of the back.
The lower part of the back,
The middle part of the back,
And the upper part of the back.
Silently say,
My back is very relaxed.
Be aware of the neck.
Silently say,
My neck is very relaxed.
Now be aware of the fingers,
The hands,
And arms.
Silently say,
My hands and arms are very relaxed.
Be aware of the face,
Jaws,
And entire head.
Silently say,
My head is very relaxed.
Let the body melt into the floor.
It feels heavy and warm and cozy.
The body likes to relax a little every day.
Continue to relax until you hear the sound of the bell.
The bell is ringing.
