Imagine if the world was completely different.
Imagine that if you closed your eyes at night time,
You went into another world,
A world that was perfect just for you.
In this world,
Everything would be exactly how you wanted it to be.
You could make up the animals in your mind and create different types,
Animals that don't even exist in the real world.
You could create rivers and mountains that look just like you want them to look.
Maybe,
Just maybe,
Your mountain in your world would be a mountain made of candy floss.
Your cotton candy mountain is just in front of you.
Imagine that in your mind.
You're standing on the grass in your perfect world in your mind.
There's big trees all around.
What if the trees were different too?
What if the trees were made from twisted licorice and the branches were all twisted and knotty?
They could be black licorice or red licorice.
And the leaves,
The leaves were made of marzipan or chocolate or even taffy.
They would be some very special trees.
You decide it's time for you to go to your cotton candy mountain.
You start walking through the trees.
The base of the mountain is not too far away.
It won't take you too long.
There's a river running down the left side of the mountain.
The river is full of fruit punch.
And there's a waterfall where bright red fruit punch falls over the sides of the waterfall and bubbles up at the bottom making frothy pink red bubbles.
Fruit punch bubbles and you can smell it.
It smells like strawberries and apples and everything good.
All the birds in the sky are like Easter eggs with wings.
And if you make them laugh they crack open and drop candy from the sky like a piñata.
What else would you create in your mind,
In your world when you go to sleep?
You start to think about this.
And before you know it you're at the base of your cotton candy mountain.
The candy floss is piled so high it's bright pink.
It looks like a pink fluffy cloud.
When you start to climb the mountain of candy floss it crunches and melts underneath your feet and your hands making them all sticky.
Whenever you want to you can just lean forward and take a mouthful of candy floss.
You let it melt on your tongue.
Makes all your face sticky.
You have candy floss up your nose and on your chin and all around your mouth.
But you're so happy.
So content.
You get higher and higher on the mountain.
You've climbed your candy floss mountain before in your dreams.
You're always very very good at it.
And you're always safe.
Sometimes when you get to the top there's a surprise waiting for you.
But sometimes the whole experience is just climbing the mountain.
Do you notice when you climb your candy floss mountain that your legs start to get tired?
Your arms get tired pulling on your body weight over and over and over again.
It feels like the candy floss is starting to stick more and more on your hands and your feet.
And they start to ball up like you've got balls of candy floss on your hands and balls of candy floss on your feet.
But you can still climb.
You go higher and higher.
Now if you look down the trees made of licorice look so small.
Keep going higher and higher.
You never feel unsafe.
You always know that you're safe climbing here.
This is your world.
This is your imaginary dream world.
Nothing bad ever happens in these dreams.
You're almost at the top.
Almost right there at the peak of the candy floss mountain.
You get to the top.
It looks a different colour.
It's almost golden shining in the sunlight.
Sparkly gold candy floss.
You reach your head forward and taste it.
It tastes like nothing in the real world.
It doesn't taste like banana,
Apple,
Cinnamon,
Strawberry,
Mint,
Lemon.
It doesn't taste like anything that you know.
It tastes as how gold would taste you decide.
Gold has its very own flavour.
Sparkly gold candy floss is your new favourite.
You munch and munch and munch until the peak of the mountain is flat and then you see just how tired you feel.
The flat part of the top of the mountain looks so inviting to just maybe lay down on and take a little rest.
When you lay down it's so soft underneath your body.
It seems to melt around the shape of your feet and your legs,
Your head,
Your arms.
It cradles you in and supports your entire body.
This feels like someone's giving you a hug.
A nice warm hug which makes you close your eyes so that you can really feel it and enjoy it.
Your whole body feels safe and warm and comfortable.
The candy floss mountain gives the bestest hugs.
It makes you feel full of love.
Your toes are full of love.
Your legs are full of love.
Your fingertips tingle with the feeling of love and being loved.
Your nose twitches and all of your hair stands on end and tingles throughout your entire body go up and down your spine.
It feels so nice to be loved and safe.
It feels that nice that all you want to do is just fall to sleep.
You know you can fall to sleep because this is your special world.
It's your dream world,
The place where everything you think comes into reality.
And every time you come here you can change it.
The fruit punch river could be chocolate milk the next time you come.
Or maybe strawberry milkshake.
The clouds in the sky and the easter egg birds could be very different too.
You could have unicorns,
All different flavors flying through the sky made of pastel colored chocolate.
When they open and crack like an easter egg they drop down sparkling chocolate drops,
Rainbow colors,
Pink and yellow and pale blue falling from the sky like rain all over dream world.
Sometimes when you come here you could have little people that live here too.
Maybe they're tickle people.
They like to tickle each other and make each other laugh.
Or maybe they're roly poly people and they roll like rolling balls all over the place every time they go somewhere.
This is your dream world and you're laid on the top of your candy floss mountain.
You're so so tired and comfortable.
So relaxed you could barely move even if you wanted to.
Your legs are so heavy.
Your arms are so heavy.
Your head.
Your body.
Couldn't even lift your little finger if you wanted to.
You are so comfortable and relaxed.
Your eyes won't open anymore.
They're so heavy and tired.
Your heart slows down and beats in a peaceful pace.
You can't help but fall asleep.
You sleep the bestest sleep here in your dream world.
The world where you can use your imagination and create the bestest world.
The most amazing world.
Just by pretending.
You can make magic.
