Transcript
Are you ready to meditate with Corrie?
Climb in your bed and make sure that you lay down in a comfortable position.
Once you've stopped moving and you're still,
As still as you can,
Take a nice,
Big,
Deep breath.
Breathe and relax your body even more if possible.
Imagine that your body is super,
Super heavy and all of your different body parts feel very,
Very heavy.
It would be hard to move around.
They're so heavy.
Imagine that you're at the bottom of the ocean right now and you're watching the fish,
All the little creatures,
You're watching the bubbles slowly rising all around you.
And surprisingly,
Your super tired,
Heavy body can breathe down here at the bottom of the ocean.
It's like you belong down here with all the fish and the different creatures and everyone is your friend.
You're like one of them.
You blend in as part of the family of everything that lives below the surface of the ocean.
You feel very comfortable and happy down at the bottom of the ocean.
So happy and comfortable,
Your heavy body doesn't feel so heavy down here.
It's very easy for you to move around.
If you wanted to,
You could swim through the corals,
Hide amongst the seaweed.
You could chase the fish and play with your friends as much as you'd want to.
And when you first get down here,
That's exactly what you do.
You swim around effortlessly as if you're a fish yourself.
What kind of fish would you be if you were a fish or a creature at the bottom of the ocean?
You don't have to be a fish,
You could be an octopus,
A shark,
You could be a turtle.
Maybe today you feel like being a squid and you do exactly what squids do underneath the ocean.
You're very happy down here.
It's quiet and peaceful.
All you hear is the bubbles,
The sounds of the ocean.
In the far off distance,
There's gentle music playing.
Maybe there's an under the sea band or an orchestra somewhere.
But for now,
This feels like your home.
The water is nice and warm.
It's the perfect temperature.
Your body seems to feel very soft and nimble in the ocean.
And when you stop,
Still.
Very,
Very still.
Everything around you keeps moving and living as if you were invisible there for a second.
Stay still.
Very,
Very still.
Give it a try for a few moments.
And just watch as everything else carries on around you.
See?
Now you can swim again if you want to.
The coral has different areas that you can play in and out and around.
It has passageways and long tunnels that you can swim through.
And when you go into a coral tunnel,
All the colours change around you.
There's pinks and purples.
Blues and greens.
Little bubbles of light reflecting off the different surfaces.
Down there in the deep,
You like how quiet it is down here.
You feel very relaxed and peaceful inside.
It's nice to swim really fast and then just stop.
And float.
And be still once again.
Invisible once again.
It's like playing hide and seek with your friends,
But you're playing the invisible sea creature deep down below the surface of the ocean.
And you're playing with all of your friends down here.
Yet they don't even know you're playing the game.
Because you go invisible.
So still and quiet.
All of your little friends just swim around you as if they don't see you anymore.
And then just like that,
You flip one of your fins or you move one of your tentacles and start swimming again.
And it's like your friends find you all over again.
There's a coral castle down here below.
All the creatures swim in and through and around the different parts of the castle.
There's a tower in the castle.
All of it made of coral.
And you like to go to the coral castle.
And swim in the tower.
There you can be a king or a queen.
A prince or a princess.
And the ocean is yours.
And all the creatures that live down there with you love you a lot.
You're a kind and compassionate leader.
And everyone is willing to follow because they all love you so much.
You also like to dig with the crabs.
It's very fun.
They find so many treasures underneath the bottom layer of the ocean.
All the things that people have dropped or lost or dumped into the ocean end up down there.
Way,
Way down at the bottom.
And the crabs seem to find all the coolest things.
Bracelets and rings.
Forks.
Spoons.
They collect all the shiny things.
And they put them in a treasure chest.
And because you're friends with the crabs you get to see everything that they keep.
And they store away in their big treasure chests.
You like it when they open the chest because the sun that shines down through the water reflects off all the silver and gold.
Everything shiny creates a beam of light.
And then you feel like you're swimming under a disco ball.
It's always best when all of your friends join you.
Swimming around,
Dancing at the same time.
Pretending that you're in a disco.
Or that you're having a party.
And everyone is celebrating.
Maybe it's your birthday.
Maybe someone down there is getting married.
After playing with the crabs you stop and go invisible once again.
Choosing to stay very,
Very still.
When you're still you can feel the water all around your body.
Watch the light reflecting off the coral and the different creatures down below.
Making the prettiest colours.
And because you're still and quiet and invisible,
All of your friends,
The creatures down there at the bottom of the ocean,
Can't see you once again.
You're very good at being super still and quiet.
Sometimes when you stay this still,
You start to feel as if you could drift off to sleep.
Your eyes get heavy.
And it's harder to open them up than keep them open.
You want to stay awake so that you can watch your friends swimming all around you.
But your eyes get heavy.
Super heavy.
And before you know it,
You get to the point where you can't keep your eyes open anymore.
And it feels nice to just float down there in the deeps.
Down.
Way down at the bottom of the ocean.
The sound of the bubbles and the noises are like white noise.
And they lull you into a deeper state of relaxation.
Before long,
You lay down on the soft sand and rest.
You move with the current in the ocean.
Just a slight side-to-side motion.
And your body gets all soft and jelly-like.
And you let the ripples of water ripple all around you.
Gently moving your body up and down.
And side-to-side.
Just like a jellyfish would move.
All soft and limber,
As if your bones have got super,
Super jelly-fied.
Lots of your friends all around you do the same thing.
They get still and quiet.
Eventually they close their eyes.
They lay down on the soft sand.
And let their bodies be moved by the current of the ocean.
As if you're all being cradled and rocked.
Just like a baby would be.
You're so safe and warm and comfortable down here.
You sleep for the longest time.
And then you wake up and start all over again.
Take a nice,
Big,
