
Chakra Cleansing Meditation
With the push and pull of energies all around us, along with our own chatty monkey mind, it's important to cleanse our spirit so we can reset and harness more positive energy. This meditation invites you to use visualisation to heal and clear any block energy centres and create a deep sense of calm.

Many sounds Welcome to this cleansing meditation.
Thank you for choosing me to guide you in your practice today.
So just begin by making sure you're as comfortable as possible.
Any cushions or blankets you might need.
It's really lovely for this particular meditation if you lie down with your arms naturally resting at your sides with the palms facing upwards.
And when you are comfortable just allow the eyes to close.
Arriving here in this time that is just for you.
You can put aside anything else for now.
It will be there for you to pick up again later.
Just now we are easing into calm.
Easing into peace.
I invite you now to bring your attention to your breathing.
There's no need to change the rhythm of the breath.
Just become aware of it.
Of breathing in and breathing out.
Focus your attention on this breath.
Breathing in peace and feeling peace fill your mind and your body.
And as you breathe out let go of anything that does not serve you well.
Maybe an emotion,
Tension within the body.
Or any negative thoughts.
Let them leave you now with each exhale.
Becoming more and more peaceful with each breath.
Each exhale allowing you to sink further and further into a place of relaxation and calm.
Allowing the plume of thoughts and emotional energy received from others today just fall away.
With each breath you feel more grounded.
More like you.
Let's take a few moments to really enjoy this feeling.
We can deepen our breath further now as we breathe in for the count of four.
Hold our breath for the count of four.
And breathe out for the count of four before finding the pause once again.
Let's do this together now for a few rounds.
Inhale three four pause.
Exhale three four pause.
Inhale three four pause.
Exhale three four pause.
Inhale three four pause.
Exhale three four pause.
And just let your breath settle back into its natural rhythm.
Whatever is most comfortable for you.
Now turn your attention to your body.
Cradled by the floor or bed.
Supported enough so that you can let go.
Let go of any tension from the tips of your toes to the crown of your head.
It can help to squeeze the whole body tightly for a few seconds.
Pulling everything together.
All the muscles.
And release.
Finding more ease.
More space.
Bring your full attention now to your feet and your toes.
And allow them to relax.
Feeling heavy.
Loose.
Completely surrendered.
And feel this warm sense of relaxation spread to your ankles.
Perhaps the feet drop to the side as they relax even more.
Feel the relaxation flow up into the calves.
And the knees.
Releasing and relaxing every muscle as it goes.
It flows further to the muscles in your thighs.
As you repeat silently to yourself.
My feet and legs are relaxed.
Now feel the relaxation spread up into your torso.
Relaxing your abdomen.
Your stomach.
Letting all tension go.
Relaxation flows into your chest.
Perhaps you take a deep breath here and feel your chest relax.
Your back relaxes as this warmth flows through your spinal cord.
Flooding your nervous system with calm.
You are supported.
You are completely safe to let go.
Repeat silently to yourself.
My torso is relaxed.
This relaxation flows into your shoulders now.
Perhaps dropping them further away from the ears.
It flows down the top of each arm.
The elbows.
The forearms.
Pulling into each hand and flowing into every finger.
As your hands lay heavy.
Repeat silently to yourself.
My arms,
My hands are relaxed.
Relaxation flows into your neck now.
As all the small muscles here release.
Flowing over the face.
The jaw.
Feel the cheeks relax.
All the little muscles around the eyes.
And now feel this warm sense of deep relaxation.
Flow up and over your scalp.
The relaxation flows through your entire body.
A delicious wave of relaxation and surrender.
Repeat silently to yourself.
My face and head are relaxed.
My whole body is relaxed.
Bathed in a feeling of peace,
You are ready for cleansing prana.
Positive energy to flood your mind,
Your body and your spirit.
I invite you now to visualize a ball of white light above your head.
Feel this light gently vibrating above you.
Imagine this ball of light begins to grow and grow until it completely surrounds you.
Feeling cocooned in the healing light.
The white rays filling every cell with its healing energy.
You feel a deep sense of well-being.
A deep sense of happiness.
Allow this beautiful shimmering light now to slowly shrink down into a small ball once more.
As it travels and settles at the base of your spine.
Here it gently swirls and swirls as it turns a ruby red color.
Swirling around your root chakra.
Healing as it goes.
You feel a deep sense of security.
Of grounding and connection to the earth.
Notice as this swirling light moves to your navel.
And fades from red to orange.
Settling in your sacral chakra.
Feeling a deep sense of creativity.
Of the kindness within you.
And a connection to your emotional self.
This swirling orange moves purposely and slowly to the point where your ribs meet the center of your chest.
And this glittering yellow settled into this space,
Your solar plexus chakra.
Your source of happiness,
Personal power and energy.
As this glittering yellow heals,
You feel a deep sense of being able to realize your dreams.
You feel valuable.
The yellow light gently flows upwards to your heart chakra now and swirls into an emerald green color.
This sparkling light deepens into your heart space,
Your center of love,
Trust,
Gratitude and compassion.
Feeling a deep sense of being loved and able to give love.
The slowly spiraling light moves into your throat chakra now and turns a beautiful blue.
The blue ball of light settles here,
Healing here,
Your source of communication and self-expression.
It heals your authentic self and you feel your ability to express yourself as your true soul deserves.
The swirling ball of light drifts up to the center of your forehead,
Your third eye chakra and turns to indigo.
The swirling energy sinking deeply into your third eye,
Your connection to your higher self.
Sink into that space that houses your intuition,
Imagination and connects you to universal consciousness.
The healing ball of light now floats right above your head once more,
Turning pure white,
Healing your crown chakra.
I invite you now to deeply inhale as the white light floods back down your spine to your root chakra.
And as you exhale,
The white light travels back up your spine all the way to the crown.
Inhaling cleansing white light,
Exhaling from root to crown.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Your white light is now ready to shrink once more into a small ball,
Floating higher and higher above your head until it slowly disappears.
While you know,
Its healing power is yours to call upon at any time.
For now,
You feel a deep sense of calm and relaxation.
You feel cleansed.
I invite you now to set an intention with your mind,
Body and spirit ready to invite good intention.
Repeat silently to yourself.
I intend to remain relaxed and at peace.
I intend to channel delight into my day.
I intend to be around those with positive energy.
With your bright shining rainbow of cleansed chakras running through you,
Begin to bring your attention back to the sensation of your body now.
Begin to awaken,
Ready for the rest of the day to greet you by finding some small movement in your fingers and toes.
Maybe flexing the feet,
Having a nice long stretch.
And when you are ready,
Roll yourself onto your side and bring yourself gently to sitting.
Bring your hands together in a prayer position at your heart space.
