Enter this meditation in a way that's most comfortable for you,
Either seated or lying down.
For now,
Focus only on your breath.
Allow your eyes to soften.
Feel your neck and shoulders relaxing.
Continue to concentrate on your breath.
I don't know of a single person who hasn't taken a ride on the struggle bus at some point,
And that most certainly includes me.
Riding the struggle bus can mean a variety of things,
Ranging from dealing with past trauma,
Worrying about what will happen to us from point A to point B,
Over concentrating on the future,
When our mind should be in the present.
That is the very short list.
When we ride the struggle bus,
We lose focus on our true destination and the cost of that fare.
The cost of that fare is quite steep,
My dear friend.
The struggle bus has many parallels to conventional public transit.
Your experiences before boarding the bus can influence your trip in either a positive or a negative way.
The same applies to the other passengers you will be with while on your journey.
Other passengers are with you,
But you are on your journey.
Focus on that now as you take several more deep breaths.
Keep your focus on your destination.
As a frequent commuter,
I often rely on my earbuds for solace.
So I invite you to plug in your spiritual earbuds now so that you can attune to your sacred space and focus on your destination without distraction.
Exhale any unhealthy elements.
Inhale your arrival point.
Do this several times.
Whether the other passengers might include self-doubt,
Worry,
Anxiety,
And so forth,
Tune them out.
You paid the price for this ticket.
So this ride needs to be all about you.
This is your life,
And no one else has the right to dictate it.
Exhale any unhealthy distractions.
Inhale your arrival point.
Your arrival point can and should be whatever your heart desires.
See yourself pulling up to that stop,
The stop where everything will start.
As you move away from the bus,
Realize that you weren't really struggling.
After tuning out from the other passengers and tuning into yourself,
Exit that station and breathe in everything you expected.
Feel a true sense of protection.
Just be sure to give yourself a hug along the way.
You deserve at least one because you are so amazing.
At your own pace,
Invite subtle movements into your body.
Let your eyes open slowly.
Take three deep breaths.
The crow flies from me to thee to send the message.
Blessed be.
Namaste
