Hello everyone,
My name is Dane and welcome to this Yoga Nidra meditation designed to balance and heal the third eye chakra.
The third eye chakra is the energy center located between your eyebrows,
In the middle of your forehead.
It is associated with intuition,
Insight,
Imagination and spiritual awareness.
When the third eye chakra is in balance,
We experience clarity,
Wisdom and a deep connection to our inner guidance.
However,
If this chakra is blocked or imbalanced,
We may struggle with confusion,
Lack of clarity or difficulty trusting our intuition.
In this meditation,
We will journey into the realm of the third eye chakra,
Allowing ourselves to heal and restore balance to this energy center.
So find a comfortable position,
Lying down on your back and let's begin.
Just take a moment here to settle into a comfortable position.
Lying down on your back,
With your arms relaxed by your sides,
Palms facing upwards,
Close your eyes gently and bring your attention to your breath.
Taking a deep inhale through your nose,
Filling your belly with air and exhale fully,
Releasing any tension or stress.
Just repeat that a few more times on your own,
Focusing on your breath and allowing yourself to relax deeper with each exhale,
In and out.
Now bring your awareness to your physical body,
Starting from the top of your head,
Slowly scan down through your body,
Releasing any tension or tightness that you may feel along the way.
Relax your forehead,
Softening your eyebrows and let your eyes sink into their sockets.
Release any tension in your jaw,
Allowing your mouth to gently part.
Continue to relax your neck and shoulders,
Letting them sink into the floor beneath you.
Allow your arms to feel heavy and relaxed,
Palms open to receive.
Relax your chest and stomach,
Feeling your breath flow naturally in and out.
Open your hips,
Your thighs,
Your knees and your calves and let your feet gently fall open,
Completely at ease.
Just take a moment now to observe your body,
Feeling a sense of deep relaxation and surrender and know that you are safe and supported throughout this practice.
Now bring your attention to the area between your eyebrows,
The location of your third eye chakra and visualize a vibrant indigo energy spinning and radiating from this point.
This energy is pure wisdom,
Intuition and healing.
As you breathe in,
Imagine this indigo energy expanding.
Fill in your entire head with its healing light.
Feel it spreading warmth and clarity to every cell of your body.
Allow any tensions or blockages within your third eye chakra to dissolve and be replaced by this healing energy.
As you exhale,
Release any mental clutter or limiting beliefs that may be stored within your third eye chakra.
Let them dissolve and be carried away on your breath.
Feel a sense of mental clarity and openness as you let go of what no longer serves you.
Continue to visualize this indigo energy expanding beyond your body,
Extending out into the space around you.
Feel a deep connection to the realm of intuition and spiritual awareness,
Knowing that wisdom flows freely and abundantly.
Now let's continue our practice,
Staying focused on the breath,
Further deepening your connection to the third eye chakra.
You will engage in alternate nostril breathing,
A technique that balances the left and right atmospheres of the brain,
Promoting harmony and clarity.
Place your right thumb over your right nostril,
Gently closing the nostril.
Inhale deeply through your left nostril,
Counting silently to yourself,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Now release your thumb and place your ring finger of the same hand over your left nostril,
Gently closing it.
Inhale fully through your right nostril,
Counting four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Inhale through your right nostril,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Release your ring finger,
Placing your right thumb back on your right nostril,
Exhale through your left nostril,
Counting four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Continue this alternate nostril breathing pattern on your own,
Allowing each breath to bring you deeper into a state of inner balance and clarity.
Feel the breath cleansing and purifying your third eye chakra,
Opening the gateway to higher wisdom and insight.
As you progress,
Notice how your breath naturally becomes slower and more effortless,
Inviting a sense of calm and heightened awareness.
Take your time and allow yourself to fully immerse in the rhythm of your breath,
Letting go of any distractions and surrendering to the healing energy of the third eye chakra.
Alternating nostrils in and out,
Locking the other nostril with thumb and then ring finger,
In and out,
Wherever you are in the breathing pattern,
Simply let go of the technique and return to a natural effortless breath.
Now,
As we move to visualization,
Bring your awareness to the center of your forehead,
The location of your third eye chakra and bring back the image of a beautiful indigo light glowing in this area,
Radiating with a gentle and soothing energy.
And imagine this indigo light expanding and growing brighter,
Feel its warmth and clarity spreading throughout your entire head,
Bathing your brain in its healing glow.
Now envision yourself in a serene and peaceful place,
Surrounded by the beauty of nature,
It could be a tranquil garden,
A serene mountaintop or a peaceful beach,
Allow this scene to unfold in your mind,
Visualizing the colors,
Sounds and sensations of this peaceful environment.
As you immerse yourself in this tranquil setting,
Feel a gentle breeze brushing against your skin and the warmth of the sun on your face,
Notice the vivid colors of the flowers or the vastness of the landscape,
Feel a sense of peace and serenity enveloping you.
Now shift your attention back to the indigo light at your third eye chakra,
Imagine this light expanding beyond your physical body,
Creating a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms.
As it expands,
Feel a deep connection to your intuition and inner wisdom,
Visualize yourself standing at the threshold of this bridge,
Ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and expanded consciousness.
Take a step forward,
Feeling a sense of anticipation and excitement for what lies ahead.
As you walk across the bridge of indigo light,
Allow your intuition to guide you,
Trust the subtle whispers and nudges from within,
As they lead you towards a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you.
As you continue on your journey,
Notice any symbols,
Images or messages that arise,
These may come in the form of vivid visions,
Gut feelings or sudden insights,
Embrace them with an open mind and heart,
Allowing them to deepen your understanding and expand your consciousness.
Feel the energy of your third eye chakra,
Becoming more vibrant and alive with each step you take,
Embrace the clarity and wisdom that flows through,
Illuminating your path and empowering you to make choices aligned with your highest truth.
Take a few moments to fully immerse yourself in this journey,
Allowing the experience to unfold naturally,

When you are ready to return from this visualization,
Express gratitude for the wisdom and guidance you have received.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Imagine the indigo light gradually receding back to its original size,
While still maintaining its gentle glow at your third eye chakra.
Now I invite you to repeat the following affirmations silently or aloud,
As you do,
Feel the truth of these statements resonating deeply within your being,
Healing and balancing your third eye chakra.
I trust my intuition and inner guidance,

Surrender to the present moment and simply observe your breath,

Simply observe them with an open mind and heart.
