Welcome to this yoga nidra.
Welcome home to yourself.
Welcome to the home of your baby that has been growing in this warm,
Nice and comfortable place for the last few months.
And I would like to invite you to become as comfortable as your baby is right now.
So become aware of what you have to do to become maybe 5 or 10% more comfortable right now.
You can lie on your back or on your side.
And know that it is okay to move during this yoga nidra.
But also know that when you start moving,
Another movement will follow and then another movement will follow and suddenly you are constantly moving.
Instead of experiencing yoga nidra.
So if you feel the urge to move,
Maybe first scan your body.
And then notice if it is really needed to move or if noticing the sensations is enough for the sensations to flow away,
To move away.
Now start to become aware of the parts of your body that are making contact with the floor underneath you.
Notice the parts of your body that are making contact with the floor or the mattress below you.
Notice your shoulders,
Back,
Side of your body making contact with the floor underneath you.
Notice your hips and legs,
Feet,
Heels and ankles that are making contact with the floor.
And then see if you can give a more heavy sensation.
