Hello and welcome to this meditation to help you drift off to the land of sleep.
Let's start by turning off the lights and all your devices and get ready to drift off and get deep sleep.
If you have just woken up,
Give yourself permission to let go of any overwhelming or repeating thoughts,
Just observe them and watch them float away.
Now get comfortable in your bed or wherever you are lying down so that you can truly relax,
Feel into the support beneath you,
Knowing you are in a safe place to let go and unwind.
I invite you to close your eyes and take a beautiful deep breath and let go of all the worries and busyness of the day.
Open your body from head to toe and feel yourself start to relax,
Releasing any tension or tightness.
With each breath,
Let your body soften and melt into your bed.
This is your sacred space,
Your special time for you to rest and restore.
Nothing can wait until tomorrow.
There is nothing for you to do now.
Let the music and words wash away any stress or anxiety that you may have experienced during the day.
There is nowhere to go and nowhere to be.
You only need to be right here in this moment,
Allowing yourself to let go and embrace the comfort of darkness as you surrender into the journey to the land of sleep.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Imagine your body being filled with peace and calm.
Feel this sensation moving from head to toe,
Melting away any resistance to sleep.
Let yourself sink deeper and deeper into a state of restful relaxation.
Now visualize or feel yourself floating.
You can feel the sun's warmth and a soft breeze on your skin.
You can hear the gentle lapping of the water and feel the gentle ripples of the waves rocking you to sleep and carrying you to a peaceful and serene place.
As you continue to float,
Your body starts to feel lighter and you sink deeper into sleep with each passing moment.
As you continue to float,
Begin to focus on your breath.
Breathing in,
Hold and breathing out.
As your body continues to let go,
Feeling stress-free and calm,
Take a moment to give a moment to give thanks for all the wonderful things that you have in your life and appreciate the beauty that surrounds you in this undisturbed blissful state.
Now in this blissful relaxed state,
Let these words continue to wash over you.
I am loved.
I am worthy.
I am safe.
Peace is within me.
I can let go into sleep.
Allow these words to fill your heart with a sense of self-love,
Serenity and inner peace.
Slowly feel into this peaceful state as you unwind into sleep,
Allowing your body time to renew your energy for the coming day.
Continue to breathe,
Making relaxation your priority.
Let go.

Relax that little bit more,
Dropping deeper and deeper,
Surrendering as you drift off into a restful and rejuvenating sleep.
